We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

GREAT NEWS FOR LOBers!!!


NBC and the Premier league announced today that a new TV rights deal has been reached for the next SIX YEARS!!!! Matt said it best... why can't they broadcast the World Cup

Fantastic news, indeed. NBC have shown the others how it's done by taking a good look at the best of what was happening in English broadcasting and replicating it here.

I never thought we'd have several live matches on a regular Saturday spread across several channels. Look how far we've come since the dog days of the 80s. Wow!

I second that, so this is fantastic news. NBC has done a superb job and is now the benchmark in footie broadcasting.
