A Very Early Sunday Morning in the Capital
It's another busy, busy day in the Prem tomorrow, starting insanely early with the intriguing London derby between a resurgent Spurs and a Chelski side still struggling to turn their season around. Later in the morning, we'll be treated to Liverpool v. Swansea and finally Norwich v. Arsenal. Join me for all the crack o' dawn action, won't you?

Morning, boys! I'm just getting to the early, early match, which is being broadcast on USA. Here is the team news:
Tottenham
Lloris; Walker, Alderweirald, Vertonghen, Rose; Dier, Mason; Dembele, Son, Eriksen; Kane. Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Onomah, Carroll, Lamela, Njie.
Chelsea
Begovic; Ivanovic, Zouma, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Fabregas, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Pedro; Hazard. Subs: Amelia, Djilobodji, Baba Rahman, Mikel, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Diego Costa.
Referee: Michael Oliver (Ashington)
Spurs doing most of the early running here. Free kick chance now for Erikksen to swing one in.
And another for Erikssen. This time it's a better delivery but called back for some wrestling in the area by Dier.
Better from Chelski, with a silky move from Willian and Pedro. Out for a corner.
Spurs are taking the match to Chelski and creating some real chances but Chelski look capable of breaking quickly and scoring when they do.
Oh - great save from Begovic there from a header by Son. Super football all round.
Spurs continuing to test Chelski's resilience here. Dembele draws a super save out of Begovic.
Dier plays a lovely little pass through to Son, who finds himself in some space around 25 yards out in the middle of the goal, but he fires his shot well over and the Spurs crowd deflates like a bouncy castle at the end of a party.
Kane picks up a yellow card for a striker's challenge on Willian.
Oscar does brilliantly to nutmeg Mason but then tries a ridiculous effort from an impossible angle.
Kyle Walker gets a yellow for a nasty one on Azpi. Could have been red, honestly.
The half ends with both sides in a stalemate. 0-0.
We're back on for the second half at Shite Fart Lane. Neither manager has gone to his bench yet.
Vertonghen in the latest into the book for a nasty hack on Hazard. That's five Spurs players now in the book.
Now Mason has a problem; they've called for a stretcher.
Not really that much in the first hour of this match to open the tired eyes up. Thank goodness I've got a strong cuppa nearby.
Now there is a yellow for Matic for a chop on Erikssen.
Chelski try to break quickly but Willian can't take advantage of a two-on-one.
Jose seems a bit frustrated on the touchline. The Blues definitely need a win today.
Oh - nice one-two between Son and Lamela but Begovic did well to stop the shot.
Matic is down with a head injury now.
Oh - great volley by Hazard, well saved by Lloris.
Believe it or not, the PFA Player of the Year from last year hasn't scored yet this season. Wow!
We're down to ten minutes of what has been a really boring match between two supposed title chasers.
Still no sign of Diego Costa who has been consigned to the bench today.
The last ten minutes have been bad football. You might say the last 84 minutes have been. Rose kicks the ball into Willian’s face. Everyone cheers. Apart from Willian.
Willian makes way for fellow Brazi Kennedy. Not sure what the point of that is.
Clinton trips up Kenedy. Make your own jokes, I’m bored now.
Into stoppage time; blow up, ref!
Pedro goes off, replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek, which inspires Diego Costa to chuck the bib he was wearing over his hoodie into the air. The scamp.
One last chance for Spurs now and a yellow for Azpi for time wasting.
Good morning Bob.I just woke up. How was the match?
Crazy - after all that, Spurs play the last corner short!
And that's it - a really dreary 0-0 draw that I should have slept through, to be honest. It leaves Chelski moored at the bottom in 14th on 15 points. Both Swansea and Norwich have the chance later to leapfrog them with wins.
Costa Lot bench. It just gets worse for Jose.
I think it's the West derby next as the Hammers host the Baggies.
The commentators are focusing on Diego Costa's bib-throwing antics post-match. That tells you everything you need to know about that match.
Morning, MUR - you missed a real stinker. Well done, you.
Here are the teams now lining up at the Boleyn Ground:
West Ham: Adrian; Jenkinson, Ogbonna, Reid, Cresswell; Obiang, Kouyate; Moses, Zarate, Lanzini; Sakho. Subs: Song, Tomkins, Carroll, Jelavic, Antonio, Spiegel, Cullen.
West Brom: Myhill; Dawson, McAuley, Evans, Olsson; Sessegnon, Fletcher, Yacob; McClean, Morrison; Rondon. Subs: Chester, Gardner, Anichebe, Lambert, Berahino, McManaman, Lindegaard.
Referee: Martin Atkinson.
Thanks mate. I'm glad I got some much needed rest. I recorded the match. Should I even watch it or just delete it?
The Spuds remain fifth. While Chelsea move one place to 14th . That is temporary pending the Swansea's result at Anfield.
The Hammers will move up to 6th with a win in the West Derby while the Baggies will move up to mid table if they nick a 0-1 win
They're off from Upton Park
The home faithful are blowing bubbles as we get underway at Upton Park.
I would delete it unless you need a sleep aid this week.
The managers are two of life's laughter makers in the form of Pubis and Slaven the Slav.
Thanks for the heads up. I probably won't because I usually come home knackered as is
Guess why Clinton is signing for Chelsea.
Sess and James McClean are playing as two fullbacks, who are merely defending. That tells you everything about Pubis's tactics today
So he can play alongside Kennedy?
Rondon has just Runned Offside Not Runned Onside.
The Gunners go top of the pops if they win by five or more at CR . I wouldn't put it past them or Ruddy!
Wouldn't that be more appropriate for Lewinsky? I'm not sure that Hillary is into that sort of thing.
Into the side netting by Zarate in the Hammers best move of the match . Moses couldn't part the nay blue and white striped sea, so he passed to Lanzini, who passed to Zarate.
Nice one mate. I'm desperate for material after this match is looking a lot like the first one. It's dreary outside , so I can't look at the scenery either.
Rather dreary so far. It looks like a return to Fat Sam football.
Fred is up for this match. Perhaps it's the Jimmy Dean sausages that Elizabeth is cooking to honor Mike Dean, who was influential in the Black Cats victory yesterday. Believe me, Fred is thankful for thart
Rondon rips one just wide of the mark. Close call.
OH!!! Just wide by Runned on in the Baggies first attack of the match. According to Rocky, Adrian was beaten.
Nice idea by Lanzini as he played a long ball to the Coyote , but was inches too high. This match is just coming to life.
Runned on was signed by Pubis from Zenit, who top their CL group with a 100% record. They don't seem to be missing him.
MacAuley is called for holding Sakho about 25 yards out. I remember those being called when I lived in Blighty.
GOAL! Zarate livens up this dreary morning with a super free kick!
Myhill actually got fairly close to that one but it was absolutely perfectly curled into the top left corner. What a strike!
1-0 Hammers!
GOAL !!!! WHAT A BEAUTY AS ZARATE BENT IT LIKE BECKHAM AS IT CURLED JUST INSIDE THE POST FROM A DIFFICULT ANGLE. MY HILL DIDN'T STAND A CHANCE.
It was a textbook free kick. My hill was never going to save nor was any keeper. That was a perfect free kick.
That goal will move the Happy Hammers up into 6th ahead of Palace and Everton.
I don't know about you, but I'm pleased to see the Hammers take the lead , not just for Johnno, but it forces the Baggies out of their shell. If the Baggies had scored, they would have sat on their lead, but now they need to attack
Macaulay has given away another free kick. Another chance for West Ham from a set piece.
Definitely - Plan A for any Pulis side is not to lose.
MacAuley concedes another free kick.Lanzini curls it in from near the touchline and Myhill catches it this time.
That one, thankfully, went out the window. Does Pubis ever have a plan B?
Oh - Kouyate might have scored a second there. Free header.
The Coyote had a free header , but headed a superb cross from Cresswell well wide. That could have practically sealed a win for the Hammers early doors.
Lanzini picked Jacob's pocket and his long range rocket cannoned off of Myhill's shin and away to safety.
The Baggies have a free kick and somehow clear it after the free kick from Sess took an awkward bounce.
The Hammers should have had a free kick by the D as Jonny Evans tripped the Coyote , but got away with it. Nice run by Moses as he got past Jacob.
Now Zarate is down. No, it's just a shoe problem.
An atrocious Baggies free kick as they give it away and Pubis is none too pleased. I'm sure he will give his players the hairdryer treatment at the half.
Oh - Myhill saves brilliantly from Lanzini!
Great save by Myhill from Lanzini after Zarate got past Jacob, who has been off the pace today
Kate thinks that the West Ham players seem "younger and fresher" than other teams.
Half an hour in and the Hammers are still controlling this one.
It looks that way this match unless the Baggies are older and staler than other teams. Hard to say.
The Hammers should score a second . I don't see the Baggies coming from two down
Another wasted Baggies pass as Jonas Olsson plays a desperate long ball straight to Adrian. That's the fourth or fifth time the Baggies have gifted possession with aimless long balls.
Private Jenkinson goes on a solo run and wins a corner.
Jonny evans heads out the corner from Zarate. That was the first corner of the match for either side.
Private Jenkinson fouls Jacob and now they get into a shoving match. It's quickly sorted out.
Yacob should have picked up at least a yellow there for raising his hands to Jenkinson.
Another waste from the Baggies as a long free kick is basically passed to Adrian.
I agree. Jacob was a naughty boy.
Sakaho has a shot blocked for a corner after pass from Cresswell was missed by Lanzini. The corner from Zarate went past everyone. The Hammers retain possession.
Moses blasts over after great foot work from the Coyote.
A minute of stoppage time
The Hammers are one up at the half thanks to a brilliant free kick from Zarate. The hammers have completely dominated. Pubis will probably read the riot act in the dressing room.
Half time -off to the shower.
The second half is underway
Tony Pubis is making his intentions crystal clear as he is going even MORE direct, bringing on a big target man in the form of Rickie Lambert, in place of Sess a winger. The Baggies will be even more direct now that they are playing with two big target men. At least they have two up front.
GOAL !!! THE BAGGIES TIE IT UP AGAINST THE RUN OF PLAY!
It all started with a long goal kick from Myhill. The ball broke down the right to Jim Morrison. His cross was headed out by Cresswell, then Rickie Lambert scored with a deflected effort that wrong footed Adrian
The Hammers win a corner and the corner from Zarate is headed out by the first man
Seconds before that, a decent cross was put in by Lambert and Runned on completely missed kis kick in decent scoring position.
McClean fouls the Coyote from behind, playing more like McDirty.
The free kick from Zarate was easily headed away
That goal by Rickie Lambert was only the Baggies fourth goal on their travels this season. Also, the first Prem goal from open play today.
Ogbonna is called for a shirt pull on Lambert and is livid at Martin Atkinson. Winston Reid ,wisely pulls him away
Ricikie Lambert takes a swerving free kick through a dodgy Hammers wall and Adrian pushes it away for the Baggies first corner of the match. The corner from McClean is headed away
Back at the hour mark from a refreshing shower and I see that the Baggies have equalized.
OH!!!! what a superb save by Adrian from a header by Runned on. It was at him, but at point blank range. A superb cross by Fletch , then the rebound was blasted over.
Jacob fouls Moses by the D
Karate with another free kick. On target but into Myhill's arms this time.
Zarate takes the free kick, but this time it's deflected straight to Myhill.
Bilic appears to be throwing Andy Carroll into the action. Obiang replaced. Attacking move there.
welcome back, mate. Sorry mate, but you missed a goal while in the shower. A deflected effort by Lambert , who came on as a ha;ftime sub
BOOM BOOM! The Chop was met by Myhill.
I was criticizing pubis for bringing on an extra target man in the form of Lambert, but he does deserve credit as Lambert scored then nearly scored with a free kick.
Bilic making a similar change in tactics to that of Pubis at the half.
Naughty by Moses on Jacob.
Looking at the replay , the Baggies goal may go down as a Reid OG. Johnno will not be pleased.
Come on, the Hammers - go and win this!
If this match finishes a draw then the Hammers will be seventh while the Baggies will remain 13th.
Oh - Sakho had a chance there but Ollson got in a heroic block to save the Baggies. Sakho has injured himself with the effort.
OHJ!!! What a break by the Hammers , led by Moses. He did well to pick out Sakho and a last ditch block by Olsson prevents a goal and results in a Hammers corner.,
Now Sakho is down. That would be a huge loss for the Hammers ahead of a busy holiday schedule.
That's that for Sakho and it Jelavic will be on in his place. Like the Baggies, the Hammers will go with two big target men.
The corner from Lanzini breaks to Zarate, just outside the box and it's blasted well over.
Jelavic has replaced the injured Sakho.
Now Andy Carroll appears to have a head injury after a clash of heads with MacAuley, who appears to be worse off.
MacAuley is up and appears to be OK..
Zarate straight at Myhill.
Jela is called for a foul on MacAuley, who has been in the wars this half.
The wind seems to be affecting the end of this one.
This match after early promise, is deteriorating.
Yes. It's been an extremely windy day in Blighty today. I don't ever remember those.
Yacob finally gets that yellow that he's been begging for all game.
Jacob is booked for a nasty foul from behind on Zarate. That's his fifth booking of the season and he will be suspended next weekend.,
Oh - Carroll had a chance to volley home there.
The free kick was headed down and Andy Carroll couldn't get a shot of fin a crowd of players
The final roll of the dice from Slaven is an odd one as Mikael Antonio , a big winger signed from Forest , is on for Zarate. Only his second Hammers appearance.
Lots of effort on display here but not a lot of quality in the second half.
Agreed. It's been a boring second half . The first half was far more entertaining.
Oh - Moses nearly sealed it there for the Hammers with a left-footed volley.
OH!!!! Moses volleyed just wide . Andy Caroll headed on the ball and a first time cross by Lanzini was volleyed just wide by Moses.
Four minutes of stoppage time.
Four minutes tacked on for those injuries in the second half.
One last chance now from a free kick given away by, who else, Yacob.
Jacob fouls Lanzinin just outside the box in an Argie clash.
Last chance of the match?
My Hill saves the free kick from Cresswell that we didn't see due to technical difficulties and it finishes 1-1.
That's the lot. Full time whistle. 1-1. Hammers up to 7th, Baggies stay ahead of Chelski.
The final televised match is Liverpool vs the Swans, which is on NBCSN instead of Born in the USA> The Canaries vs the Gunners will need to be seen on a link.
Two more matches to come. Of the two, I'm choosing the one at Carrow Road that starts at 11:15am. Here are the teams:
Norwich City
Ruddy; Wisdom, Bennett, Bassong, Olsson; Howson, Dorrans, O’Neil, Brady; Hoolahan; Grabban. Subs: Rudd, Martin, Mbokani, Jerome, Mulumbu, Redmond, Odjidja.
Arsenal
Cech; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Cazorla; Ramsey, Ozil, Sanchez; Giroud Subs: Ospina, Debuchy, Gabriel, Chambers, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Reine-Adelaide, Campbell.
Referee: Jon Moss (Sunderland)
It looks like Gooner will need to bring the lappy so he and your dad can watch the match from CR
will Brendan be in attendance to watch his two former clubs in action.
Gomis and Jefferson Montero benched for the second straight match by Garry Monk.
"You'll Never Walk Alone" being played at Anfield.
Kate didn't appreciate my rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone."
For some reason, Arsenal have gone with their third kit even though there is no apparent clash between the teams' home colors.
They're off from Anfield.
I'm not sure unless they need to sell some jerseys durin g the holiday season.
A Black Friday sale special perhaps?
Let's not rule out Cyber Monday!
Nearly an OG by Kyle Bartley as Jordan Ibe was put through. The slide tackle came off the post and out for a thankful Swansea side that were caught out on the break.
Eder, in for Gomis, heads wide at the near post from a cross by Kyle Naughton.
Kate will not be pleased to see Giroud down injured.
After yesterday's high scoring fireworks, today has been a damp squib of a day.
She's not pleased at all.
Naughty behavior by Kate. I'm sure you sang an outstanding version of our rival team's song. See she didn't seem interested in MOT either./
By the way, Kate now has a crush on West Ham's Aaron Cresswell. What will Giroud think?
So far yes. Just a free kick and a deflected effort to boot.
Giroud will be raging with French jealousy. A crime of passion on the horizon?
The pitchside effects mic is picking up Alex Neil’s ‘encouragement’ from the dugout. He is very Scottish, isn’t he?
I certainly hope not! Sacre bleu!
A superb long ball from Can to Beneteke , who miss controls and allows Kyle Bartley to nip in.A shame as he would have been in a great position to slot it past Flappy.
Alex is as Scottish as SAF and from the same area. Is he the next SAF?
My link is buiffering , so I'm not picking up much
Oh - Basong just about clears out from Ozil attempt.
You don't have the Premiership Extra Time channel on your telly?
The Gunners need to win by five or more to go top . I'm not sure that will transpire.
Ruddy was a bit flappy there on that cross.
Unfortunately I do not. If your dad does then he and the Gooner can watch them in action.
BOOM BOOM!
The Canaries have been kept in Cech so far?
Arsenal starting to click through the gears now. They can overtake both Leicester and United with a win, given their superior GD.
I love having all the options, although BEin has been negligent in terms of bringing the Leeds action recently.
It appears to be bloody windy throughout Britain today.
Great block by Bartley from Lallana after great work by Clyne.
A lot of Arsenal's best attacks are going down the left side through Monreal and Sanchez.
Correct, but they need a five goal win to overtake Citeh. It has been bloody windy in Britain today. Did we ever experience windy conditions like that at Lakenheath???
Great cross from Moreno , but Ibe couldn't control with his chest and the Swans hoof it away for a corner.
The corner is whipped in and Eder and Flappy both go for the ball. It is cleared. As Ray Houghton stated, It's a lack of communication from Flappy asd Pool have another corne.r
I did. I remember several really windy days playing out on the flight line at Lakenheath for the AYA teams. During one match against UWS' team, we gave up six goals in the second half - I think a couple of them just blew into the net from corner kicks!
A rare break for the Swans and Milner is booked for a naughty foul from behind on Andy Ayew.
I arsing around a wee bit. We had tons of windy days at LAkenheath and those matches near the flight line were usually played in gale force winds. A few of my corners were nodded in with an assist or so by the wind.
Kevin Keegan ,Terry McvDermott and Ian Big time Rush are in attendance and I'm sure have their fair share of opinions about Liverpool performances in recent years
GOAL! Oh dear, Ruddy has just about thrown one in. Ozil in the beneficiary as he rolls it past the Norwich keeper.
So far , so good for Yellows, but not for dad, Gooner, and Simon.
Poor old Yellows - I feel for the guy. This is not the year to be following Norwich in the Prem. They could easily go down.
There it is . Great finish by Ozil off that horrible throw by Ruddy. The Gooners will be delighted. Just four to go.
That puts Arsenal up to second, level with Citeh on points but several goals behind.
