It's another busy, packed Saturday of Premiership and Championship fixtures today. We start on the South Coast with Bournemouth v. Spurs, a real test of Tottenham's ability to be real title challengers. Then we've got the usual 10am fixtures, including Arsenal v. Boro and Leicester v. Palace. Then we finish up with Liverpool and West Brom at 12:30pm. Join me for all the action today here on the LOB!

We start on the South Coast today - the team news:
Bournemouth: Boruc; Adam Smith, Francis, Steve Cook, Daniels; Surman, Arter, Wilshere; King, Ibe, Callum Wilson.
Subs: Gosling, Aké, Afobe, Gradel, Federici, Fraser, Mings.
Tottenham: Lloris; Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose; Wanyama, Dembélé; Alli, Lamela, Eriksen; Son.
Subs: Janssen, Vorm, Trippier, Sissoko, Wimmer, Winks, Davies.
Referee: Craig Pawson (South Yorkshire)
Unfortunately for the Cherries, they lost their top scorer Junior Stanislas to injury in training during the week and then lost Andrew Surman during the warm-up just a few moments ago.
Great to see two sides playing in their traditional kits.
Good morning, Bob. Great to join you . How was you r week?
The Cherries nearly scored two minutes in when Lloris , doing his best impersonation of Banksie, superbly deflected a close range effort from Charlie Daniels on to the bar off a corner.
Morning, MUR - great to have you on board as usual. I had a busy but good and productive week. October is always one of my busiest months. You?
Whenever I hear the name Charlie Daniels, I always expect to see a bearded bloke playing a fiddle.
LOL. I always think of his brother, Jack Daniels AKA J.D.
Wilshere puts through Callum Wilson, whose shot comes off Vertonghen for a corner
The corner is off of Wnyama for another.
The curling corner is caught by Lloris. The Cherries have already won five,
Oh - Lamella shot nearly crept in the Bournemouth goal - off the angle. Deathly quiet in the ground as that shot came off Lamella's foot.
And Lamella promptly picks up the game's first yellow card.
A rare Spuds attack as they break and Lamela is picked out by Alli and the long range effort clips the outside of the post as Boruc was rooted to the spot.
That was for a foul on Adam Smith. Is that Voodoo economics, mate?
Wanyama's not a popular bloke around these parts, after his time at the Saints.
I should say so, not exactly the "invisible hand," or "invisible foot," I should say.
This is a competitive match, just as expected.
Thanks for the clarification. I always enjoy your economics analysis
Agreed. The Cherries have shown their depth by replacing the injured Stanilslaus with Josh King and the ill Andrew Surman with Dan Gosling. Not too shabby for a supposedly tiny club. The Cherries have depth thanks to some astute signings by Eddie Howe.
Cheers, mate.
Eddie Howe has done a splendid job here on the South Coast.
AN update: Burton Albion defeated the Blue Noses 2-0 yesterday. A creditable start to the season for Burton Albion in their first ever season in the Championship.
Powerful run by Dembele but his pass comes to nothing. Most of Spurs' attacks are being broken up on the 18 yard mark.
Agreed. Who would have expected the likes of Jack Wilshere playing for the Cherries ? a sign of their progress.
Definitely. I don't know much about Burton, but there must be a moneybags owner behind their success, right?
Boruc does well to turn around a deflected effort from eriksen
They've made some canny purchases and loans, including Wilshere and Jordan Ibe.
Eric Dier's header was one off the corner from Lamela. Enough said about that
Agreed. Is Eddie Howe a potential future England manager or would it not be worth the headache for him?
Spurs will be expected to win this one but The Cherries are no mugs.
Eddie was even in the frame this time but was thought too young in the end.
I actually agree with that. He has one full season of top flight experience and with a small club. Now that he's showing that he can manage some egos, his future prospects should improve.
Vertonghen is booked for a foul on Callum Wilson on a potential Cherries break.
Delli Alli is booked for sandwiching former Spuds trainee, Adam Smith. Is that economical?
Lamella's in trouble here with the ref. Surely that should be his second yellow but Referee Pawson gives him a break. Surely that's his last chance, though.
Lamela fortunate not to be shown a second yellow. Like Fred, he must have nine lives.
The Spurs boys don't seem to have any time for the free market this morning.
Is Fred watching with you this morning, or is he catching up on his kip?
Harry Arter seems to be everywhere today; certainly The Cherries' most industrious player.
Danny Rose booked for nasty foul on Josh King, who must seem like a royal pain to the former LUFC trainee. Did he learn that behavior at the esteemed LUFC Academy?
Danny Rose is the latest recipient of a yellow card from Craig Pawson. This is building up for sure.
I don't think so - we run a clean academy program. Must have picked that up at Shite Fart.
Agreed. That accolade could go to a couple of other Cherries such as Adam Smith and Charlie Daniels.
Thanks for the clarification. You have been of great assistance this morning.
Two minutes of stoppage time.
A great run down the left by Jordan Ibe and snatched wide by Callum Wilson.
Well, this first half has slipped away without too much incident and without any goals.
Peep peep - the half-time whistle goes.
It's 0-0 at the end of a half that has been far more entertaining than the scoreline would suggest
Plenty of effort, intensity and all that, but two statistics stand out: there have been two shots on target, and five yellow cards. There probably should have been six, Erik Lamela fortunate to escape a second booking. So the second half will be a card watch for sure.
Teams coming back out on the South Coast.
Delle Alli warms the hands of Boruc early on. Decent effort.
No half-time changes for either team. I don't know why more teams don't try one change at the break.
I'm back from taking Melanie to ACT testing. That's her last SAT or ACT , so as they say, let the chips fall where they may.
Lamella went streaking through there off Ericsson's flick but Daniels got back to win the challenge.
Best of luck to Melanie this morning.
I don't think the Cherries need to make a change. I'm sure Eddie Howe is content. It may be wise to replace Lamela, who is on the brink of a meltdown that would please Donald Trump.
Cheers,mate. Greatly appreciated.
Lamela with a wayward shot in anger , which also seems like Donald Trump.
Josh King is off for treatment due to a head injury . The Cherries cannot afford to lose another striker.
Josh King is back in the thick of the action as he concedes a free kick.
Max Gradel, a former crowd pleaser at ER, is on for Jordan Ibe.
Number One Son makes his last contribution and then off he goes.
Number one Son must feel like number two as he's replaced by Vinny Jansen.
One of your former LUFC favorites came on for the Cherries a minute earlier.
Sad to see what has happened to Max Gradel. He was a hero at Leeds - now he's an also-ran coming off the bench for a middling Premiership side. I hope the money is good.
Kyle Walker is fouled just outside the box by the Wee former LUFC player.
Those changes were made right on the hour mark - regular as clockwork.
Lamela curls a free kick straight to Boruc.
That's a good pint. He did well in France, but I think he's had injury problems too.
LOL. It does seem that substitutions have to be like clockwork. Not like the good old days when substitutions were made because the manager deemed them necessary.
This is exactly the kind of match that Spurs have to win in order to prove to me that they are true title contenders. Unfortunately, they draw far too many of these.
Agreed, MUR - it's as if modern managers have a handbook that they all consult.
Grades into the book now for a pull on the shirt. More of a culmination of offenses.
Nice trickery by Gradel then his shot is blocked by teammate, Wilshere. Gradel is then booked for pulling back a player.
I agree. The Spuds failed to deliver in key matches last term. It may come down to their form at the tail end of the season.
Dan Gosling is down, holding his hammy. He is up, but Eddie Howe will be keeping an eye on him.
Now Wanyama is down off a challenge from Harry Arter. Is this footie or a world title fight?
Delli Alli, who was sandwiched by the Cherries players, is off for Sissoko.
Sissoko on now - can he help Spurs break the deadlock?
I was surprised to see Alli go off. If you want to win the match, you'd leave him on and withdraw someone defensive like Dier or Wanyama. Throw caution to the wind, a bit.
I agree. It's like for like, but he could have supported Delli Alli instead of leaving him sandwiched.
A comfortable near post save by Boruc from Danny Rose.
Harry Redknapp is back at the place where his managerial career began. That was at a time when he was in football for the right reasons.
Sisokho with a nasty push on Harry Arter, who doesn't appreciate it as a fight nearly breaks out.
Big decision here for Referee Pawson. He giving Sissoko and Arter a bollocking. Clear elbow from Sissoko - don't know why he went off.
The replay shows that it was a clear elbow. Surely, he will be suspended once it reviewed on video.
An intriguing final fifteen minutes, particularly for Spurs. A point is fine, but a much better result for Bournemouth. A win after such an even, intense encounter would feel momentous.
I agree. How did the ref not see that?
Afobe on now for the last ten minutes.
Banik Afobe is on for Callum Wilson. It's one striker for another, but Afobe is more physical compared to the pacy Wilson.
To last ditch tackles to prevent close range efforts for the Cherries.
Again - why bring off your goalscorer at this point! So negative from Eddie Howe.
A three match ban means that Sissokho will not be available until the weekend before Thanksgiving thanks also to an international break. He will only be available for a CL match prior to the break
More subs now....(sigh)....
Ryan Fraser , a winger signed from Aberdeen, is on for Josh King. I think this change was due to an injury.
Gradel wins a tackle , goes on a speedy solo run, but his final touch is poor as he's tackled for a corner.
The corner is headed away instead of elbowed by Sissokho.A cross by Simon Francis is headed inches over by Afobe.
Into three minutes of stoppage time.
Howe the Cherries would consider a draw a good result. The Spuds may consider it a shite fart of a result.
This match between the Captains of Industry finishes 0-0.
That's it - a dull 0-0 draw in the end with six yellows and precious few actual scoring opportunities.
Spurs show themselves again to be not ready for the title push.
Next up - Arsenal and Boro on NBS Sports Network and Swansea on CNBC.
I'll be watching the Arsenal, who I do think are a true title contender. These are the teams lining up now:
Arsenal: Cech; Bellerín, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Elneny; Walcott, Özil, Iwobi; Sanchez
Middlesbrough: Valdes; Barragán, Ayala, Gibson, Friend; De Roon, Forshaw; Clayton, Traoré, Ramírez; Negredo
I'll also have an eye toward the proceedings at Molineux, where my boys will be taking on Wolves.
I'm back for the 10 AM matches. The Gunners vs the Teesiders on NBCSN and Bob Bradley's first home match in charge of the Swans as they host the Hornets/ They're off from the EM
And about 45 seconds later from the Liberty
And we're away from Emirates.
Hopefully, your lads will be able to tame those Wolves. MOT!
George Friend heads out a cross from Bellerin for an early Gunners corner.
The Toon take the lead vs the Tractor Boys seconds into the match
Ayoze with that goal
Donny Trump takes the lead at the free falling Tangerines. About the lead he will ever have.
Ayala concedes a free kick to the Gunners. Curled over by Ozil
The Evil Blades take the lead at the Fake Dons in an extremely evil and vile fixture.
Cheers, mate - we'll need the luck.
Gomes turns around a near post effort from Ayew. The Hornets counter off the corner, but Fatty Deeney ruins it with a rather hefty challenge.
Colchester take the lead vs Morecambe and Wise.
Cambridge takes the lead at Exeter
The Real Dons take the lead at Posh
I made a mistake. It's Soutehend , who took the lead at the Evil Dons. Bob will be pleased about that.
Boro are having trouble even getting our of their half. They've clearly set their stall out to defend a point.
Luv it!
WAY HAY!!! Cambridge goes two up at Exeter.
Oh - nearly a freak away goal for Boro there. How did Traore not score there. Cech with a fabulous double save.
A rare attack for Boro and Cech makes a close range save from Adama Traore then saves the rebound from Negresdo then George Friend is fouled just outside the box.
OH!!! The free kick from Gaston Ramirez curls and comes off the post. The Gunners have dominated, but Boro have come closest to scoring
Jayne Mansfield on top in Bedfordshire as always as she takes the lead at the Luton Hilton.
Coq au Vin earns a free kick around 30 yards out - nice distance for a pop.
Adam Forshaw fouls Coq Au Vin about 25 yards from goal.
Alexis tries a pop with his right peg and Victor Valdes palms away.
Victor Valdes does well to turn around a free kick from former Barca teammate , Alexis.
You will not be pleased that the Evil Blades have taken the lead at Bradford City
Bellerin with a clumsy foul on Gaston Ramirez just outside the Gunners box,
The first goal in the Prem today is by Sparky's lads at the Tigers in a relegation six pointer.
Shaquiri with the goal
Northants takes the lead at the Shrews.
WAY HAY!!! Southend goes two up at the Evil Dons.
UWS will not be pleased that Notts County have taken the lead at Fratton Park.
Matty Lowton fouls Cq Au Vin just outside the Boro box,
Sorry Boys,
I have had a busy morning and the afternoon is the same. I will try to join if I am around
I'll be around for the Bridge Battle tomorrow as Jose doesn't bother having his players get off the coach... he'll just park it at the top of the box..... zzzz
The offside flag is raised off the chipped free kick from Alexis.
Another poor free kick from the Gunners. Boro are frustrating them pretty well.
Oh - now Gaston has been out by Cech!
How are Boro not in front?
OH!!! What a great save by Cech off a header from Ramirez from close range
Good morning UWS. Sorry you will not be around today, but it will be great chatting you on Jose's return to SB.
The Tangerines tie it up vs Donny Trump, who should be used to having a lead slip.
Morecambe and Wise tie it up at Colchester
UWS will be delighted that Pompey have tied it up vs Notts County
More than half an hour gone and still only that sole Shaqiri goal in the Premiership. What a sad state of affairs when teams would rather pick up a point than try to win a match.
Barragan heads out for a Gunners corner. Head tennis off the corner from El Neny, then it is cleared.
Coventry takes the lead vs Rochdale.
I agree. I'd rather discuss Prem matches than resorting to reporting lower division matches.
Bob will not be pleased that the Evil Lions have taken the lead vs Fleetwood Mac
Not pleased at all. Still 0-0 at Molineux as well.
Goal for Burnley against Everton. It’s a dreadful mistake by last week’s hero, Maarten Stekelenburg. This week the giant Dutchman may well end up being the villain, with Vokes poking home his second goal in as many matches after netting at Southampton on Sunday.
Former LUFC player , Sam Vokes , gives Burnley a surprise lead vs the Toffees. The first home Prem goal today
Barca takes the lead at Valencia
Barnsley takes the lead at the Bees . Only the second Championship goal today
Bob will be pleased that Bradford City have tied it up vs the Evil Blades.
A minute of stoppage time at the EM
Sad that Karanka merely wants to finish 17th. Surely sides should have greater expectations than that.
Colchester regain the lead vs Morecambe and wise. it's now 2-1
Half time comes - sigh.....
I'm officially goal-starved.
I'm off to do some dishes.
It's 0-0 at the half at the EM and agreed about Karanka . Sad indeed.
Musa gives the Foxes the lead vs Palace minutes before halftime . Is that his first for the Foxes?
Not a Big Club take the lead vs JFH's lads minutes before the half.
We're back out at the Emirates. Let's hope for a bit better in this second half. Only three goals so far in the Prem.
The second half is underway from the liberty
The second half is now underway from the EM
Agreed. I've seen more than that in a single match . Far too paltry
No changes at half time (sigh)....
Not exactly a goalfest in the Championship either. Only goals for Barnsley, Newcastle and Not a Big Club. Otherwise 0-0 around the grounds. Are the teams on strike today?
Ayala fouls Alexis. Free kick Gunners
Victor Valdes makes a hash of that free kick from Ozil but it's scrambled out.
Draws for Arsenal and Spurs today would allow Liverpool a chance to gain some ground later today.
The Gunners nearly score as Valdes fumbles a cross then Kos, unmarked at the far post fails to make contact off the cross.
Agreed. That would be good news for both Pool and Citeh.
Sparky's lads go two up at the Tigers
Forshaw fouls Ozil just outside the box.
The free kick from Alexis is curled just wide, but former Barca teammate, Valdes, had it covered.
Shaquiri with both the Potters goals.
Excellent tip around by Valdes - he really redeemed himself there.
A great one handed save by Valdes from Alexis
El Neny always sounds like an insult in Spanish to me.
A corner to the Gunners as Valdes is down injured from that save.
LOL. Nice one, mate
I guess wasn't too injured as he acrobatically caught the corner from Ozil
Bellerin cuts out a pass from Barragan for a Boro corner.A waste as the corner from Adam Forshaw curls out of play
Argyle take the lead at Newport while Jeff's lads take the lead vs the Orient Express.
Great run by Traore but Cech kept him out again. He deserves a goal today.
Cech does well to push around a shot from Adama Traore on a boro break started by Adam Clayton.
Cheers, mate - I have one every once in a while.
The corner is cleared and now Alexis leads a Gunners break that i stopped by George Friend.
The Evil Blades take a 1-2 lead at Bradford.he Evil Lions now go two up vs Fleetwood MAc. Not good news.
Newport tie it up vs Argyle.
The Tangerines have come from behind to lead Donny Trump 4-1. Does that sound like the Presidential race?
It looks very much like Hull will take Stoke's place in the bottom three, breaking up the Curse of the "S" teams.
Bolassie ties it up for the Toffees at Turf Moor.
Yannick Bolasie’s opened his account in Everton colours with a timely goal at Turf Moor. The Congolese winger drilled home from close range, after Ben Mee found himself the wrong side of Romelu Lukaku.
