Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Now Kos tackles for a Tigers corner.
Ozil took too long to shoot after a one with Iwobi after a poor back pass from Fatty that will have pleased the home fans.

Markovich gets past Kos down the right and Niasse just fails to divert his cross.

The Gunners win a corner. The corner is headed away then Alexi is offside off the return cross.

Jakupovic does well to catch a headed back pass from Harry Maguire.

Hi David
I won't be around much today
I have a lot of snow removal from the driveway, walk the dog and have to go up to Saratoga
I may not even see the United match!!!
I'll join if I can
Hiya, MUR - thanks for getting us started this morning. I sacrificed this one for some extra sleep. I'm just coming up for air after a bout with the flu this week. But I'm finally starting to feel better after some expert nursing from Kate. Nice to join you for some action today.
Four minutes of stoppage time and
PENALTY AND RED CARD FOR CLUCAS , WHO HANDLED ON THE LINE OFF A SHOT FROM LUCAS PEREZ.
Arsenal are wrapping up a useful win here - I'm enjoying reading your comments.
And Arsenal have a penalty from a hand-ball by a red haired and red-faced Clucas who sees red for it.
Good morning bob and Dave. It's great to have you on board and wishing you a speedy recovery
Alexis has a chance to raise his goalscoring tally to 17 in the Premier League - and he makes no doubt!
Arsenal 2-0 and home and hosed.

He's now GBB.
We don't have much snow here so I'll be watching the other two matches with you. Off you go, UWS!
Nice analogy and glad to have started.
Hope you can join is later, UWS. No snow, in fact it's warm enough to wear shorts this sunny morn
It's over as the Gunners defeat the Tigers 2-0.
I'm off to take Sparky walkies ahead of the 10 AM matches.
Haven't left yet!!
Maybe I could get someone else to do it!!
Looking like Hull had a lot of chances!
Should have not be a goal with a handball
Should have been a red card
I don't know what Robbie is talking about.. I know it was an accident but it shouldn't count if you gained an unfair advantage
Arsenal are now temporarily up to third in the table on 50 points and only 9 (yes, 9) points behind Chelsea on top. But they'll be happy to be in a more solid CL situation.
Next up is United hosting Watford. United could leapfrog Liverpool into 5th with a big win at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Yeah - you've only got three big strapping sons hanging around, right? Bung a shovel at those three layabouts!!
Morning Bob
United just need a win and that will do it.. this United team never makes it easy for themselves
Well, Tom is in Lake George, Jon's at friend's house but Matt came home from Siena last night.... he won't do it!!
I'll get Kathy or Doug to do it!!

I'll have all eyes on Leeds v. Evil Cardiff - we need to bounce back from the big loss to Huddersfield in midweek and get the job done today.
That's nice - double up with Valentine's Day there. Kate is cooking me a V Day dinner tonight. Where are you guys going?
Got the SS link on my phone but the sound is off
The driveway is going to wait for awhile!
Not sure... somewhere in the Albany area
Ref says the goal shouldn't have stood because of the handball
Robbie Mustoe is wrong!
I think the rule should be gaining an unfair advantage!
BTW..... Wenger didn't see it
Still no sound
Again, people are going places... I may have to do the driveway soon
I've noticed the problem with the sound the last two weeks with that link. The guy has to unmute his telly!
United about to get us underway in this one. Come on, you Red Devils!
Back for the 10 AM matches.
I am watching the goal rush and Bor vs the Toffees.

Zlatan needs a brace to match Alexis' efforts today. You'd go for that, eh MUR?
I sure would. He needs to do better than he did with that earlier volley.
Gomes Addams comfortably saves a long range effort from the Miki taker.
Not a lot happening in the Championship right now. I need goals for my boys at Elland Road!

The Hammers nearly tie it up as new signing , Snoddy, has a free kick turned around by Ben Foster
In the Championship:
Brighton lead Burton Albion after 12 minutes after Tomer Hemed side-footed the Seagulls ahead. At Carrow Road, Jonny Howson has blasted Norwich City 1-0 up against Nottingham Forest.
Several goals in the Championship. The Seagulls take the lead vs Richard Burton while the Canaries take the lead vs Forest and the Bees sting their way to a lead at Ridsdale's house.
United are giving the ball away too cheaply in midfield.

Agreed. They're off to a really poor start.

GOAL !!!!! IT WAS JUST A MATA OF TIME BEFORE UNITED WOULD SCORE.
Manolo Gabbiadini scores with a near post header off a cross from Ryan Bertrand to give the Saints the lead at the SOL.
Sunderland have gone a goal down against Saints, with Manolo Gabbiadini scoring a scrappy one that is unlikely to trouble the Goal of the Month jury. Still, they all count.

Notts now two up vs Chelts.
Bolton should probably be a Championship outfit.
Derby are 0-3 down!
Welcome back, UWS. Sorry about the wintry troubles. I will not mention the unusually warm weather here.
I'd love a goal for our county cousins Barnsley right about now.
How do you fix that problem, UWS - I've never had a snowblower.
They were relegated last season, finishing rock bottom. Should go straight up, but your point is well taken
Leeds on top?

Still no sound for my link to SS

Really bad time for that, with Norwich leading 3-0 and Reading drawing.
Could really do with Everton dropping points
The Seagulls have gone two up vs Richard Burton.
Everything seems good - he was pleased about that Mark Clattenberg assist on the Alexis goal.
YES!!
Martial nets United's second
GOAL! Kung Fu romps through and slots home United's second.
EAY HAY!!! UNITED HAVE KARATE CHOPPED THEIR WAY TO A TWO GOAL LEAD.

Hopefully, he doesn't do anything stupid. Would he???
Mata coming off for HB
Norwich four up vs Forest
Jose does always like to give the opposition a sporting chance - Hair Bear to come on for the last twenty minutes.
I hope it doesn't Mata too much that Hair Bear has come on as a sub.

Still 20 to go
United should want to get their GD up some
Oldham have come from behind to lead doomed Coventry 2-1.
De Gea with a decent save
