Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I'm at work today and haven't been able to get my BEin log-in going today, so I've accessed the Radio 2 commentary from Elland Road. Lovely jubbly!
A near capacity crowd of 25K or so will be expecting to turn around that defeat at Barnsley from the weekend. Forest did win a first match under their new caretaker manager, but that was to Bristol City who everyone is beating these days.
The Leeds side tonight:
Green, Ayling, Jansson, Bartley, Berardi, Bridcutt, Roofe, Vieira, Doukara, Wood, Dallas.
We're away at Elland Road. Good strong start for us. Stu Dallas nearly got on the end on an early cross from Luke Ayling.
Pontus Jansson has a looping header directed toward goal but it's collected by goalkeeper Henderson.
Sorry - it's Pablo Hernandez playing in the attacking midfield role - Doukara has been dropped to the bench by Gary Monk.
First save there from Rob Green from Forest's main weapon Molongo.
Ten minutes in and still 0-0. Forest will be relatively content with their start. Our momentum has dropped off and the passing hasn't clicked in the past five minutes.
Pablo picks up a useful free kick. He can swing one in to the big boys now.
Oh - we've got the ball in the net but it's flagged offside. Still - that should give us some heart.
Absolutely fantastic play from us there as they put together a fine counter-attack, eventually seeing Roofe fire a fine cross into the box but Danny Fox is there to head away the danger.
A decent cross from Berardi on the left flank as he looks for the head of Wood, but Forest goalkeeper Henderson collects with ease.
Not happy with this yet. We've got less than 50% possession at home and not enough dangerous chances on goal. 0-0 as we approach half-time.
One minute of stoppage time now.
A very even first half at Elland Road, with no goals yet. Both sides could have nicked the opener though with some good chances but a little bit more will be needed to win this one in the second half. Not happy yet.
Forest get the game back underway at Elland Road. Come on, you Whites!!
Free kick for Leeds as Hernandez goes down after being fouled. He takes and it fires over the top of a number of heads but Pinillos just about gets his head on it to clear.
Another Leeds free kick, Hernandez is again the man who is fouled, this time by Vaughan. He goes over to have a chat with the referee, signalling that the Leeds man had dived, but it's a free kick nonetheless. One way traffic now. Better.
YESSSSSSS! It's a scrappy one but it's Chris Wood's 20th of the season. 1-0 Leeds!
Just got home
Just got an update on my phone from Fotmob
A corner is delivered over by Hernandez that Bartley heads towards goal but sees it blocked, only to fall into the path of the potent Wood at the mouth of the goal and he makes no mistake in tapping home.
Welcome, UWS - you brought us good luck again!!!
An instant change for Forest as Hobbs is replaced by Thomas Lam.
Nearly a second for us but Pablo is flagged offside.
Less than half an hour left. Hang in there, lads!
I am listening to commentary of the semi final at Anfield.
The link didn't work
Southampton still one up from the first leg
How are you following?
That Wood goal has us up to third again, two points clear of Reading in fourth and seven points off Newcastle in second.
Of course, we've played one match more than all of the other sides. Of course, I'd prefer the points.
Another Forest change as Osborn is replaced by Gooner favorite Nicklas Bendtner. Where's he been?
Plenty of niggly fouls and free kicks from both sides now.
Liverpool almost take the lead! Goal line technology saves the Saints
What commentary are you listening to?
My 5Live is blacked out
I am listening to Talksport's commentary of the semi
A change for Leeds now as Dallas is replaced by Souleymane Doukara. Good one - Douks can run the ball into the corner flag with the best of them.
?
I've got the Radio 2 stream going:

Goal at Elland Road... "stormer of a goal" by Leeds
TWO NIL
Tony Yeboaish
YESSSS!!!!!!
Douks with the second goal!!!!
I can't wait to see it - sounds special!
We've got to be home and hosed now.
Changes for both sides as O'Kane is replaced by Ronaldo Vieira while Assombalonga makes way for Ben Brereton, who is making his Forest debut this evening.
Can't get it to work
Talksport is giving me updates
Southampton should have been further up
Is it politically incorrect to say that even saying "Assombalonga" makes one sound a bit racialist?
You've done well, lad. Brought us two close.
Oh - Wood nearly wrapped things up with a second, chipping the keeper but just wide.
Another Leeds change as Alex Mowatt replaces Hernandez. That's our lot.
How much time left
Kick off was at 3 at Anfield
Five minutes and stoppage. Blow up ref!
Oh - Roofe nearly scored a third there. We seem to be defending from the front and running this one, as we should.
I apologize for no goals in the last ten minutes
Almost a third goal again. Ayling crossing to Wood but his touch was heavy and Henderson collected.
LOL! That's alright mate. I'll let you off this time.
16 to go at anfield
Just one goal by Pool and they'll go on and win it
Into four minutes of stoppage time now.
sniff sniff sniff.... I smell third!! Over the 50 pt mark
Well done!
First yellow card of the game for Ayling, which is surprising considering the number of fouls and tackles this evening!
Yeah - we're definitely safe now.
Full time
Congrats mate
YES! Full-time whistle.
We're now up to third in the table and numerically safe for another season in the Championship. It's party time at ER!
Thanks, mate!
80 minutes gone at Anfield
That is incorrect
You are not safe in the Championship.....you're going Premier League
Under 8 to go
Away goals only count after extra time in the EFL Cup
Can Southampton hold on?
Will it be a repeat of the 1976 FA Cup Final?
Could United blow a two goal lead?
Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Liverpool(2 legs)... Southampton have not let in a single goal during their entire run to Wembley....almost
Pool want a pen... ref gives a corner
It was a good challenge and the man went down too easily
Southampton breaks....and SCORE!!!!!!!!!!
2-0 on aggregate in injury time!!!!
Shane Long
Liverpool wanted a pen but it was a great tackle... they just go down the other end and finishes it up!
Full time... Southampton are Wembley bound... COME ON UNITED... let's have a repeat of the 76 Cup Final...with a different result of course
This is why teams like Southampton and Everton and others that have no worries of relegation should take cup competitions seriously... it's great to make a Wembley Cup Final
