Game Changer Sunday
A very good Sunday morning to you, lads! We have a fascinating Sunday morning of Premiership footer ahead of us, with two matches that could very well change the picture of the table. First up, Liverpool travel to WBA, who have the potential to upset Liverpool's quest for European spots. A loss at the Hawthorns could very well let in Everton, United or Arsenal who play later. Then there is the small matter of United v. Chelski. Our Red Devil loving mates will probably be all doom and gloom, but on their day, United are capable of creating a surprise at Old Trafford. Join me for all the fun and games!

Good morning, Bob. It should be quite an interesting Sunday.
Morning, MUR - how are you, mate?
As we kick off at the Hawthorns, there’s the potential for all sorts to happen in this one. Well, maybe. There’s the potential for Liverpool to pull a whopping nine points clear of Manchester United, albeit perhaps for only a few hours, and albeit with Jose’s boys having three games in hand. But to do that they’ll have to get over their curious weak spot against not so good teams: since the turn of the year alone they’ve dropped 13 points to Sunderland, Swansea, Hull, Leicester and Bournemouth, but have been fine against, well, the good teams.
They're off from the Hawthorns with Jon Champion and David Prutton on the mics.
I'm doing well, How have you been? Thanks for asking
The teams news:
West Bromwich Albion
Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Evans, Brunt; Fletcher (c), Yacob, Livermore; Phillips, Chadli; Robson-Kanu. Subs: Myhill, M Wilson, Nyom, Morrison, McClean, Rondon, Field.
Liverpool
Mignolet; Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner; Can, Lucas, Wijnaldum; Coutinho, Firmino, Origi. Subs: Karius, Moreno, Grujic, Sturridge, Alexander-Arnold, Woodburn, Gomez.
Referee: Jonathan Moss (Co. Durham)
Doing just peachy here, mate. Three weeks of the regular semester left plus finals at this end.
The Baggies cause Mayhem on a long throw , but Matty Phillips slices the shot . Then Hal Robson-Kanu is offside in a promising position.
We have six weeks plus finals left. Heading towards summer.
Seems to be a dreary day in Blighty.
COME ON YOU BAGGIES!
Indeed it is. NBC was trying to do their pitch-side chats with the Robbies standing in the rain.
I'd love to see a WBA result today, even though I'm not a fan. There is something irritating about this Liverpool side.
Liverpool haven’t exactly started in sparkling form. The match hasn't really settled into a pattern, and that will suit Tony Pulis to a tee.
I think Pool are a decent side to watch, but it's in United's best interests for the Baggies to win.
If Pool get the opening goal, I wouldn't see a way back for the Baggies because Pulis hasn't set them up for that.
Matty Phillips slices a shot horribly wide the second time this match
Ross County just tied it up against Celtic, who may be taking their foot off the pedal since clinching the SPL title. A draw would put Ross three points above a playoff spot and four above the relegation spot.
I heard that you and Kate have been hosting Brucie . Is he eating you out of house and home?
OH!!! A south American tangle. Yacoub, the Argie gifts possession to Coutinho, the Brazi, who puts through his compatriot , Firmino, who shoots inches wide with just Foster to beat
Hopefully, Foster does not make a horrible error like Forster did yesterday
Nah - Brucie is always a very polite guests. He's welcome any time.
Firmino bears the brunt of a tackle for a Pool corner.
I didn't catch that late one - what was the Forster clanger?
The matches BEIN shown on the telly tomorrow.
The 10 AMER is the Tractor Boys vs the Toon and the late one is the Rams vs your beloved Terriers. The match from your house is BEIN show on tape delay at 2 PM EDT.
WBA are keeping Liverpool honest in the midfield, snapping into challenges quickly and consistently. No real threat from the Reds as a consequence.
Shocking that there is no Leeds coverage on BEIn tomorrow - someone should be sacked!
The match from your house kicks off fifteen minutes earlier than the other matches. Why is that?
A tad naughty by Lucas on Liverwurst. Lectured by John Moss.
Coutinho volleys well wide and Chadli with an unusual miss kick in the six yard box. Great chance for both sides
Liverpool get lucky there with the referee blowing for a foul from that corner that looks dangerous.
We've always been early birds at the Cottage.
That looked an intentional back pass by the red team. John Moss sees no evil and hears none either.
LOL, mate! That explains it.
If United make it to the EL semis then this past Thursday would have been the first of five consecutive weeks of Thursday footie due to the Manc Derby. No more Saturday footie till August.
James Milner seems to be limping, which could be a double blow for Liverpool: firstly, losing one of their most experienced men, and secondly having to field Alberto Moreno.
Hal Robson-Kanu is inches offside off a delightful through ball.
That's a crazy schedule, mate. Good luck to United with what looks to be a tough run in.
Interesting to see that WBA have built a massive screen to block out the gap in between stands in the corner.
Robson-Kanu gets in a great position again , but a soft effort is straight to Minnie.
Oh - Robson-Kanu could have done a bit better with that chance. Still, with half an hour gone, Pulis will be happy to see this still scoreless.
Cheers, mate. I'm not counting on us finishing in an EL position. Our best hope is to win the EL in Stockholm on May 24th.
That would be a huge loss and Moreno is adept at attacking, but not defending.
I didn't notice the screen. I will need to keep an eye on that.
Pat Roberts has given Celtic a 1-2 lead at Ross County with about ten minutes remaining. That would leave Ross two points above a playoff spot and three above the relegation spot.
HI Boys
Back from church just as we are approaching half time
Jon Champion mentions the world famous halftime pies. Would your be apple , cherry, or blueberry?
The zip and crowd noise has gone out of this one.
Good morning, UWS. Great to have you on board. You really didn't miss much.
Make mine a chicken tikka masala pie, mate. I like 'em savory and spicy.
Morning, UWS. You've done your Easter Sunday duties; now it's time for some footer, eh?
Several matches yesterday had dull first halves and came to life in the second. Perhaps the same will happen here.
Sounds about right. I prefer saucy!
Well the pies they are talking about are meat, meat and potato, mince...
I have yet to figure out what exactly the point of Joel Matip is.
A minute of stoppage time as Chris Brunt is booked for pulling back Origi.
I don't see the EL being the easiest route to the CL. Just start winning in the league!!!
BUGGER 1-0 Pool
Chris takes the Brunt of the Referee Moss' ire there, as he picks up the first yellow card of the day.
Apologies for borrowing your pun, MUR.
GOAL! Firmino steals in at the back post to score from a free kick. Pulls will be furious about that one.
0-1!
GOAL !!!! THAT'S COSTLY FOR THE BAGGIES AS LUCAS HEADS ON THE FREE KICK FROM MILNER THEN FIRMINO HEADS IN AT THE FAR POST. POOR MARKING AS WELL BY JONNY EVANS.
And that's half time - Firmino has changed everything with that back post header.
It's halftime with Pool one up thanks to that goal scored seconds ago.,
No probs, mate. I was teasing you about the pies. I always remembered the Shepard and mince meat pies. I would pick something to match my personality, which is rather saucy.
Second half is underway
Matip fouls Robson-Kanu near the corner flag.
The free kick is cleared and Pool have a free kick near the halfway line.
It all happened in stoppage time at the end of the match between Ross and Celtic . Liam Boyce scored for Ross to make it Desmond at the beginning of stoppage time then Scott Brown was sent off for Celtic in the second minute of stoppage time.
OH!!! A superb Pool move ends with Milner missing a sitter. He has a volley land in Row M from three yards out off a great cross from Clyne after a superb pass from Wijnaldum.
Clyne wins a corner off of Brunt. The corner eludes everyone then Origi fouls Jonny Evans.
Sorry I missed the start of the half
Busy doing stuff
I really hope United play well today!
Origi has a headed goal disallowed for offside. Firmino was the one offside when he headed the cross to Origi
Come on you Baggies
Welcome back, UWS. You really didn't miss much. The match is identical to the weather.
I'm back for the last half hour after making Kate an Easter Sunday brekkies.
Tony Pulis was telling Jim Morrison to Break on Through Till The End of Time to get the equalizer as he came on in place of Chadli.
Welcome back, Bob. As I was telling Dave, the match is identical to the weather.
What on earth was that from Coutinho?
Runned On coming on and the fans from Caracas are going wild!!
A The final rolls of the dice from Pulis as Runned on is on for Robson-Kanu and James McLean is on for Yacoub.
A do Rondon don a do Rondon.. come on... score!!
Half a dozen Venezuelan fans were there to welcome Runned ON. Presumably family members that made the long trek,
Jonny Evans booked for a foul on Coutinho. A booking seemed harsh.
Matip heads wide off the free kick from Milner.
20 minutes for the Brommies to get some think.... COME ON
Maelstrom used in a footie . Why those cheeky buggers?
COME YOU BROMMIES FROM NEAR BRUMMIE!
Lucas bears the brunt of persistent infringement for which he is gifted a yellow card from the Hallmark Store.
UNITED AREN'T START IBRA??
Don't like the line up at all
Fellaini, Darmian, Lingard!
Begovic in goal for Chelsea. A courtly rest ahead of the semis?
I don't either. Are the starters being saved for Thursday?
I suspect that Mou is resting a few. He may be throwing in the towel on today. Or playing for a draw?
Liverwurst with a stupid foul on Origi just outside the corner of the Baggies box.
It's probably a combination of what we both stated.
Dawson heads out the free kick for a corner.
Line ups
De Gea
Valencia
Bailly
Rojo
Darmian
Fellaini
Pogba
Lingard
Rashford
Young
Subs
Ibra
Carrick
Blind
Romero

Shaw
Fosu- Mensah

Bergovic, Azp, Luiz, Cahill, Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso, Pedro, Hazard, Costa
Subs
Fab, Zouma, Loftus-Ch, Willian, Batshuayi,Terry,Eduardo
The corner has runned on for another.
Jon Champion has used maelstrom and traversed in the past few minutes. Rather impressive.
What about Martial? Not even on the bench
Shaw has to be given a chance. Darmian just makes stupid fouls
Ashley Young is United's captain today
Why?
Perhaps Bob is correct about Jose conceding the match or perhaps he wants to help his old mates win the title.
These three points for Liverpool would mean United would be NINE points behind Liverpool and SEVEN behind City
WBA should have a scored
Useless effort on goal there!
A great through ball had runned on to Matty Phillips , who shot it against Minnie with just the keeper to beat. should have tied it up.
Like for like as Sturridge is on for Origi.
Don't get conceding the Top Four... very dangerous to put all your eggs in the EL Basket.... still not evening in the semis.... a final is a one off match as well. Very dangerous
I think we won't get there either way
Sturridge on for Lpool
Brilliant save by Minnie - saved the three points for Liverpool.
Daniel Sturridge coming on. I was about to say something about "fresh legs" but we all know that's not true in Sturbridge's case.
The Pool goal did not bear the Brunt of that header from Fletch. Well wide.
LOL, mate. Funny but true.
Nice one, mate!
We are bearing the brunt of watching such a dreadful matches. Just waiting for walkies.
Time for WBA to throw the kitchen sink at Liverpool.
Cheers, mate. I'm looking for some from of entertainment in this dreadful match.
Nasty one there by Livermore.
It hasn't been good, has it? But we've got a classic to come.
Pulis's substitutions did not work since Jim Morrison did not break on through to score or assist and the ball has not runned on for any scoring chances.
Four minutes of stoppage time.
Moreno on to waste some time with Coutinho trotting off.
Moreno on for Coutinho to waste time.
This is the End for Jim Morrison, for sure. People are Strange.

Moreno misses an open goal!!
Liverpool break... USELESS by him
Oh dear - Foster had come up for the corner and was stranded up field. Moreno streaks away but his shot is horribly wide. They could have run that one in.
Another Baggies corner and Ben Foster is up. Some entertainment as Foster passed to McLean , who had his pocket picked and Moreno missed a wide open goal that was empty
BOOM BOOM!
I may have gotten Arsenal's last game wrong!
I think they may host Everton
Liverpool win...bugger
Crazy end to the match - that's it! Liverpool have eked out a 0-1 win here at the Hawthorns.
It's over as Poo, win 0-1. Even putting Ben Foster in attack couldn't yield a goal.

Back from a walk in some lovely weather
So nice to be a Sunday and not being miserable... I have all next week off!!!
United play with Rashford up front... I. hope his pace scares Chelsea's back three
I don't like all the mind games that Jose has been using this season
He has harmed more then helped
I am going to try and be as positive as I can on this Easter Sunday
COME ON MAN U
COME ON MAN U
COME ON MAN U
Alonso hurt in warm up
Zuma in for him
Back for the late one. All pets fed, all walkies complete , and the litter box empty.
I'm sorry. Meant that the litter box has been cleaned.
It's warm, breezy , and humid here. Delighted that you are enjoying some great weather. I am off tomorrow then back to work on Tuesday with seven weeks left in the school year,
Teams in the tunnel at the Theater of Draws... Here the come
The teams are in the tunnel . Since Marcos Alonso is injured we might be able to zoom to victory.
Back for the late one now. Here's the team news:
Manchester United: De Gea; Valencia, Darmian, Bailly, Rojo, Young; Fellaini, Herrera, Pogba; Lingard, Rashford. Subs: Romero, Blind, Fosu-Mensah, Shaw, Carrick Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic.
Chelsea: Begovic; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Hazard; Diego Costa. Subs: Eduardo, Zouma, Terry, Loftus-Cheek, Fabregas, Willian, Batshuayi.
Referee: Bobby Madley (West Yorkshire)
BOOM BOOM! Exactly!
Sides posted yonks ago Dahlgren... get your finger out! :)
COME ON MAN UNITED!
They're off from OT!
We are of at the ToD... hope it is the old name and not the one I just made up!
We are off
It's not raining, it's Manchester crying!
United have lasted longer than the reverse fixture in conceded
Why on earth do we have Kyle Martinez on the mic!!
Come on, you Red Devils!
Lingard looks more central than Rashford
Don't kick the crap out of Hazard either United
It seems that they're allowing the studio guys to have a chance on the mics this weekend. Robbie Mustoe did one yesterday and now we've got Kyle Martino on this one.
Fellaini loses possession inside his own half
The crew is pitch side at OT. Yesterday at Shite Fart, Robbie Mustoe was on the mic.
Why do we get the yank for this one!!
Ok, all positive talk by Mr. Nocito from now on
Probably Mustoe tomorrow on his return to the Riverside.
I am sending you guys a picture of this week's word search in the paper.
Look at the second to the bottom row
Hazard receives more protection than the President!
Will be on the lookout.
Rashford with a chance...shanks his shot.... got it all wrong
Well wide by Rash after Thelma N Luiz had his pocket picked by Lindy. A rash effort.
Lot of fans of United wearing white from North London today
NOCITO!
What are the odds
Cracking atmosphere inside OT today - a far cry from the library at the Hawthorns.
The main words are blogs, caps, and dates. Which word are we looking for?
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RASHFORD SCORES FOR UNITED!!!
GOAL! Marcus Rashford streaks through and scores!!!!
YESSS!!!!
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! RASH GIVES UNITED THE LEAD!
De Get almost puts United into trouble
Great pass by Herrera...after his hand is used
Terrific through ball from Herrera to Rash and he made no mistake.
Chelski will complain about a handball on Herrera but they switched off.
Rashford has already had two chances... Would Ibra have been in the same position!
The goal came about because the Sideshow played like Thelma N Luiz. Herrera superbly won a tackle that was never hand ball. His perfect slide rule pass found Rash , who speedily beat Thelma N Luiz and shot past the on rushing Begovic.
United need to score more...they haven't done that all season
Young looking biblically slow and anything but young in his attempt to get past Moses.
Agreed. A one goal lead is anything but secure against the league leaders.
As of right now, United have hit the 60 point mark....six behind Pool and four being City with games in hand on both 2 and 1 respectively
Still very early
Agreed - Chelski have a lot of weapons.
Bailey is down injured for United off a challenge from Costa , who is slapping Rojo.
Nasty push by him...almost into the post
Not even a yellow?
Diego Costa should have picked up a yellow card there. What a punk!
Why wasn't Costa booked?
United playing with some pace today
Bailey stupidly fouls Costa.
Oh - Yash fizzed one across the area and Rash was a toe away from it.
oooh, Young flashes one across the box... shame
OH!!! Rash just failed to connect on a pass from Young . United should have gone two up.
Lingard, Rash and Young worked the ball well there
Listen to me... Mr Positive
Chelski having trouble getting it out of their own half.
One player we haven't seem much of is Pogpants
Is it an Easter Resurrection for United and Mourinho today?
Conte playing first base!!!!
Is he playing today?
Far too early
shtuum
I never like to see a baseball cap on a footie manager. Disgraceful!
Decent cross by Lingard.... need to have players running in the box
LOL! I hope he strikes out today!
United need another goal
Cloud thinning in Manchester?
Naughty by Kante on Lindy.
Nice free kick chance for United - by why on earth is Rashford taking it!!!
And another free kick given away by Kante.
