We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Happy 11th Birthday, LOB!

Warm greetings to all of you out there in LOB land on the occasion of our 11th anniversary. I'd like to thank all of you who have taken the time to post here in the past year for keeping the humble idea that I had back in the spring of 2006, as I was recovering from an appendectomy, going day after day, week after week. I'll look forward to many more chats with you about everything English, politics, cultural and of course the football in the coming year. Cheers!

Happy Anniversary. Joining the LOB was a life changing experience ion a positive way. It's been an absolute pleasure and long may the LOB continue.
