Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

A rare foul throw there. Wow!
In the few minutes I've watched, Reading seem to have a bit more ambition than do Hudders.
I have been watching the link on to my computer
Now I have to make it not full screen to be able to comment with you... You're worth it
Huddersfield have been the better team and have had two glorious chances. A header missed from six yards out and a tap in at the back post that was shinned wide
Kachunga picks up a silly yellow card for protesting a correct decision.
I appreciate the effort, mate. Welcome!
I can't believe that MUR is having to work today - some districts have no respect for the fallen, eh?
Good turn by Smith but a rubbish shot in the end. Woody would have buried that chance.
It is crazy...isn't it a NATIONAL Holiday
An hour gone - here come the changes. Van den Berg is coming off to be replaced by Obita for Reading.
It bloody well is - has Texas seceded again?
Wish it was Van Der Kerkoff
Kachunga comes off now - he's throwing the toys out of the pram like a little kid as he comes off.
Sir Patrick Stewart watching - apparently he'd a Hudders fan. I knew he was a Yorkshire lad.
They did say he was a Terrier
Wells earns himself a good free kick opportunity now off Gunther.
I want Huddersfield to become the 49th different team to play in the Premier League
Wonder if Sir Patrick is enjoying an "Earl Grey - hot" in the stands today?
These playoff games used to be so entertaining... not in modern day football alas
Used to be lots of goals!!
So pathetic there by Van La Para... used your left foot lad
This is been a load of codswallop!
Oh - that was a dire pass - straight out of play!
So weird looking at the crowd... never sure which team they are rooting for
Both clubs have the same colors home and away
Who do you want to win?
McCleary on now.
I suppose Hudders. I've got a good friend at Virginia Tech who is a big Terriers fan.
Come on, you lot - the big rectangle at the end of the pitch - find it!
The sub McCleary wins a free kick a fair way out.
Quite an easy game really
Will there be a winner in the last ten minutes... I don't want ET
I don't either - I've got things to do. These two sides are boring.
That should have gone in for Reading. They don't seem to want to score.
Reading finished third and Huddersfield with
In the other two playoffs, the team that finished in the last playoff spot went up
Millwall 6th beating Bradford 5th
Blackpool 7th beating 5th Exeter
That will add many minutes to this one as the someone was stretchered off... five minutes it took
The commentators can't decide which side should be promoted.
Both sides are playing for extra time now (sigh)...
Brown wins a corner.
Seven added minutes... please have a goal
GET THE BLOODY BALL ACROSS!!!
0-0 at Full Time. (yawn)...
Useless effort for the last kick of the game
Extra time here we come
I may not stay for the entirety
Huddersfield lose the toss at the start of extra time and Izzy Brown gets the ball rolling again. If his side lose this match, he’ll never, ever forget that sitter he missed from four yards out in the first half.
are you talking about the back post shinner? It was four inches out
Useless effort for a corner there.. Shortish to a man to flick...what's the point.. your centerbacks came all the way up for nowt!
Watching ESPN 3's coverage of the German Cup Final with Matt on Saturday. His B Dort won 2-1 after losing three straight finals... Frankfurt had a free kick with the last kick of the game.. a chance to get the ball in the box.... the guy hit the first man just inside the box..... SO BAD
Even Championship sides just go sideways and backwards!
I hate possession football
When you get the ball, try and score... if you lose the ball...get it back and try again
It is so hip to keep possession.... BLOODY BARCELONA
Lunch has arrived - leftover pizza and salad.
Come on both of you... go for the win
Whip out the smelling salts - it's half time of extra time.
zzzzzzz
Hefele has really been in the wars today.
This lot wishes it were Barca!
I need to get to Walmart... come on
I have to go
Take care
Most of these footballers are running on fumes and adrenalin at this stage.
Cheerio, mate - thanks for joining in!
Wells had a chance to win it - of course, he didn't take it.
Just about time for penalties. Maybe one last chance.
And we're going to penalties - third time that's happened.
Either of these sides will be favorites to go straight back down.
BEin have their own Rebecca Lowe now. Copy cats!
Kermogant up first for Reading....
Scores a nice pen into the left corner.
1-0
Lowe up next for Hudders.
Not a great pen but Al Habsi went the other way.
1-1
Williams up next for Reading....
Down the middle - dangerous.
2-1.
Hefele - strange choice....
Saved by Al Habsi!
2-1
Kelly for Reading....
Roofs it!
3-1!
Wells now....
Scores easily.
3-2 Reading now.
Moore....
Hits it high over the bar!!!
3-2
Two center backs have now missed pens.
Aaron Moran to level it....
Does.
3-3
Crucial one now....Abita!
Saved by Ward!!!
Huddersfield can win it all now.
Schindler to take the key pen.....
Scores!
