The Yank vs. T&T Qualifier
Oi! There's a Qualifier that the Yanks must win today to stay in the hunt for an automatic berth in Russia next year. The Blue Devil is MIA so join me, ok?
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

So far, we've made it difficult for ourselves with poor link up play and squandered finishing, but as the Trinnies start keeling over from oxygen loss, we've stepped up a bit. Weird that we're wearing red at home
ooooh, Kenwynn Jones rattles the crossbar and T&T should be 1-up
And it's Jozy's turn to let the Trinis off the hook. Well worked build up, Dembsey rescues a errent Johnson cross, and puts it on Jozy's six-pence shaped head.
Then immediately after, Jozy meets another cross and balloons his header over though well policed by the Trini central pair.
T&T are on the rack, but the US can't capitalize.
Oooof! Pulisic's shot well blocked but that was very close too.
The Trinis are getting chances because the central mid and back-foiur are being very complacent.
The other thing is that the Yanks cannot keep possession from their buliid up.
Referee plays advantage as Johnson is hacked at the top of the box, only for the ball to drift wide and slowly enough that a Trini defender could compete for it. CONCACAF refs, sheesh.
Peep-peep. But for 10-11 minutes where the Yanks squandered chance after chance, this is really too open for comfort. Shout at them Mad Hatter!
Good evening, Gooner. Great to join you for the action. Not a vintage U. S. Performance, but it appears to be a vital three points.
Sorry I spaced on this one tonight, mate. Thanks for keeping the home fires burning. I'm looking forward to Sunday night's El Classico.
