A Busy Football Tuesday
It's a busy Tuesday as is to be expected at this stage of the season. The marquee match is Chelsea vs Barca at The Bridge where Barca are the overwhelming favorites. However, that famous Cup result yesterday showed that anything is possible. There are also matches from the Championship, L1, L2, and the National League. It's a great day to watch football if you don't have anything going on.

Thanks for getting us going today, mate. I'll be running to a meeting in a moment or so, but I hope to join you by kick-off.
I'm up on the FS1 stream through Fox Soccer 2 Go now. Back in the office in time for the match. Wahay!
Good Afternoon, Bob. Great to enjoy the pleasure of your company. Back from eating lunch and running errands.
The top match in the Championship today must surely be Villa vs PNE.
The teams are in the tunnel at the Bridge. This was a regular CL fixture until six years ago. Iniesta reacquainting himself with the surroundings.
A fantastic atmosphere at The Bridge.
The fans are booing the CL anthem . I wonder why.
They're underway at The Bridge.
Chelsea in all blue and Barca with a n atrocious kit that looks like burgundy wine.
Richard Burton takes a first minute lead at Barnsley in a relegation six pointer.
First attempt of the match is from Hazard as he has shot from just outside the box that's just high and just wide. Barca victims of the high press/

The Shrews take the lead vs the Gils as they aim to win promotion.
Paulinho heads wide off a cross from Messi. Barca's best chance of the match.
Seems like a fairly cagey opening at Stamford Bridge. It's a shame that the Blues didn't have the away leg first.
Besiktas down to ten men at Bayern. Still 0-0.
Agreed., but after yesterday's result you never know.
Rudy Gestede gives the Teesiders the lead vs the Tigers
Christiansen gifts Barca their first corner of the night thanks to a sloppy pass.
Wheel Barrow takes the lead vs Gateshead.
UWS will be pleased that Pompey have taken the lead at Highbury.
Half way through the first half and still not a lot of goalmouth action. UWS would not be pleased with that. "Bloody modern football" I can hear him muttering in his classroom.
Maidenhead United take the lead vs East Lee.
Isn't UWS on Winter Break this week. I thought I heard cheering Pompey's lead at Highbury.
Bromley take the lead at Aldershot.
Bob will not be pleased that the Evil Blades have taken the lead vs QPR.
Chelsea are a little rattled right now, having seen so little of the ball.

Fred will not be pleased that Clough has given Bolton the lead vs the Black Cats in a relegation six pointer.
Ridsdale's lads take the lead at Villa Park.
Jordi Alba wins a corer off of Victor Moses.
I agree with you, mate. Barca tend to choke the life of a match with their possession strategy. Yet, Chelski are starting to get back into the match. Let's hope.
Pique heads well wide off the corner.
The Reading Railroad rides the way to the lead at Forest.
Every match in the Championship is 1-0 accept for the Evil encounter between the Lions and Not a Big Club. Still 0-0 in that match

WOW! Bottom club goes two up at Barnsley in a relegation six pointer.
Bottom Club, Fawlty Towers come from behind to take a surprise 2-1 lead vs Sutton.
Rather boring, mate. That's all I have to say about that one. Apart from the two rockets off the Roast by Willian, who is the in-form Chelsea man of the moment, I would have been asleep had I been in my easy chair this afternoon.
Then Sutton immediately tie it up to make it Desmond at Fawlty Towers/
Agreed. Elizabeth and I could have gone for a walk at one of the local parks.
The second half is underway from The Bridge.
High and wide by Iniesta . Barca have yet to register a shot on target.

The Brummies being stung by the Bees , who are now three up.
The Evil Lions tie it up vs Not a Big Club.
Barcelona are dominating possession again, but not doing a great deal with it. Chelsea are holding their shape very nicely, as they’ve done all night.
Let's hope that the earth opens up at the Den and swallows the whole lot of them!
LOL, mate. I thought you would say that.
This is a nice way to end a five day weekend. Then only two and a half weeks till Spring Break.
Have Chelsea had a serious attack in this second half. I can't believe that Conte really wants to go to the Camp Nou in a couple of weeks with a 0-0.
The Bees now four up vs the Brummies.
That sounds ideal!
He's Italian. That's the only reason I'm not surprised by the tactics.

Willian now down for Chelsea . They can ill afford to lose him as he goes off for treatment.
Macclesfield now 1-4 up at Tranny as they aim to return to the Football League to presumably replace Barnet.
Willian back on despite having blood on his shirt. Jordi Alba now alerting the ref.
The nosebleed resumes for Willian is he's being attended . Will BArca be able to capitalize on their temporary advantage.
Villa should be pleased at Grabban an equalizer from a spot kick vs Ridsdale's lads.
Superb slide tackle by Pique on Willian on a Chelsea break. Then Barca go down the pitch and Suarez goes down looking for a pen then throws a tantrum.
GOAL !!!MESSI TIES IT UP FOR BARCA WITH A LEFT FOOTED SIDE FOOTED FINISH.
After the tumble by Suarez, Christian gifted possession to Barca. The ball was passed to Iniesta , who passed back for Messi to score with a well placed shot.
That should be a vital away goal for Barca. That really hurts Chelsea.
Barnsley pull one back vs Richard Burton, but trail 1-2.
Blimey - I stepped away for a moment and we've had two goals!
Bayern now four up vs ten man Besiktas.
Rudiger booked for a challenge on Sergio Roberto. There didn't look much in it , but the reaction got him booked.
As you say, that Messi strike really hurts the cause, as Barca only need a 0-0er at the Camp Nou to go through now. Chelski will have to score. Can't see it given Barca's ball-hogging ways.
Stamford Bridge sounds really quiet now.
