A Tale of Two Manchesters
A very good Sunday morning, chaps. The day is dominated by two matches featuring the Manchester clubs, who both got off to winning ways last weekend. They'll be chasing Chelsea and Spurs who both have perfect records at the top of the league now. Citeh kick off against Huddersfield in a few moments, while United take on Brighton at the Seagull's nest later on. Join me for all the fun this morning.

Good morning, Bob. We lost that fixture in April. If the United are at their best they should get three points, but it's a Mata of how well they play.
Robbie Earle commented that this one feels like a 4th or 5th Round FA Cup match, with a total mismatch of talent between the two teams. Pep Guardiola has indeed made a load of changes from the expected first team. So, it's squad rotation time with the likes of Kompany, David Silva and Gabby Jesus coming in.
Fred says there's a match vs Scunny today as well. He's pretty optimistic.

Robbie may remember that the Terriers got a 0-0 at the Etihad in May that helped insure their survival. It won't necessarily be easy for Citeh.

Looking at the lineups, it should be a 5-4-1 as it was in May. Surprised that Lossl has lost his place in the starting lineup to Ben Hamer, a career backup keeper.
Aguero with a close range effort blocked then Tommy Smith heads out for a Citeh corner . Off Jesus heads on then nearly an OG by Mounie as Hamer is forced to tip over then a close range save from Hamer off the next corner.
A reprieve for the Terriers as Hamer is down after blocking that close range rocket.
In the other match, The Hornets take an early lead at Turf Moor.

Citeh have 80% of the possession , but as in May, they have yet to score vs the Terriers.
The Terriers will just be happy that they've kept Citeh out for the opening period. If Citeh had scored early on, this might have become a rout. They're well organized by David Wagner.
Jon Champion made mention of the Citeh's 10-1 win vs the Terriers about 30 years ago in the old Second Division. Citeh won't get anywhere close to that on a month of Sundays against this side.

GOAL! Jesus takes the wheel and adds a second for Citeh! They are flying now.
That goal was made by Benjamin Mendy, who has really made a difference since coming back into the side this season.
Citeh built out of the back , then Mendy went on a run down the left and played two one twos with Jesus that included a deflection off a defender then Hamer was beaten at the near post.

David Silva played the ball wide left to Mendy and the injured Hamer fumbled a pass from Mendy, allowing Aguero tot put away the rebound.
Jon Champion mentioned that Ben Hamer may have an injured arm. Why not substitute him if that's the case?
