Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

What better way to test Liverpool’s title credentials than a trip to Selhurst Park. They may have won on their past four visits, but as Crystal Palace proved against Fulham on the opening day, Roy Hodgson’s side are a difficult proposition, particularly at home.
The teams now gathering in the tunnel at Selhurst Park:
Crystal Palace: Hennessey; Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, van Aanholt; Townsend, Milivojevic, McArthur, Schlupp; Zaha, Benteke
Subs: Guaita, Ward, Kelly, Kouyate, Meyer, Sorloth, Ayew
Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson; Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita; Mane, Salah, Firmino
Subs: Mignolet, Henderson, Sturridge, Moreno, Lallana, Shaqiri, Matip
Referee: Michael Oliver
The proceedings have started at Palace.
Every Palace player is inside their own half, men behind the ball and all that. They’re pretty nifty on the counter, in fairness. Liverpool, without pulling up any trees, will be more than happy with this start though.
Turned it on in time to see Keita pass the ball to a Palace striker who rattles it off the crossbar. And Keita has the cheek to look at the defender he put in trouble with a arms open "whaaaat?" gesture. What a mug.
Keita slightly redeemed himself with a stinging shot from a tight angle, but really.
Good afternoon, Bob and Steve. I watched a few minutes and the live video froze as the penalty decision was awarded.
I got tied up with work. Sorry.
No worries, boys - I had to meet with a group of students through most of it. In the end, it was a fairly impressive win for Liverpool on the road. They're now one goal behind Citeh on GD and equal on points.
Sorry I missed it
Remember, I will miss the entire weekend of football next weekend. Going to Bob's all stomping ground Boston
