Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Panini Cheapskates

Chaps, I've stumbled onto something utterly brilliant. Panini Cheapskates is an ETSY site that market truly badly drawn Panini-style footballer cards. They've been served a wrapping up order from those spoilsports at Panini, so check these out while you can. They are hilarious. https://www.etsy.com/listing/604401182/90s-icons-panini-cheapskates-90s-edition

Marvelous - that gave me as big a laugh as the ruck between Sarri and Kepa in today's League Cup Final.

Lexi and Valderrama are marvelous but my favorite is Ronaldo, with his ill-advised patch of Afro from that tournament as well as the trademark corn on the cob teeth. And somehow John Barnes is white! He looks a bit more like Chrissie Waddle without the mullet.

Oooh - I've just noticed that they've got club editions! I did a quick search for Leeds United and sure enough, it's there. A classic rogue's gallery of Leeds favorites, including a David Harvey who looks more like the Kathy Bates character tormenting Jimmy Caan in "Misery" and a Mark Viduka who looks liked a haunted robot.

Quick delivery, indeed!
