A Big Tuesday Night in Footer World
A very good Tuesday afternoon, chaps! It's a big, big night in footer world. The marquee matches tonight are in the Champions League Round of 16, where Chelski host Bayern in a repeat of the 2012 Champions League final and Napoli host Barca.
Along with those matches, we've got half a slate of big matches in the Championship, including a crucial clash between WBA (1st) and Preston North End (6th). I'll take a draw there, for sure.
Join me if you're around this afternoon.

Kick-off time!
As we kick off, the top of the Championship looks like this:
WBA - Played 34; 66 points (+26 GD)
Leeds - Played 34; 62 points (+19 GD)
Fulham - Played 34; 57 points (+11 GD)
Brentford - Played 34; 56 points (+27 GD)
Forest - Played 34; 56 points (+12 GD)
PNE - Played 34; 56 points (+11 GD)
Just about kick-off time in the big fixture in the Championship - WBA v. PNE. I'll take a draw in that one for sure, which would put WBA five point up on us and PNE on 57 points.
Forest are playing Cardiff away. For once, I'm an Evil Cardiff fan today. Brentford in 4th are away to bottom of the heap Luton. Come on, you Hatters!
Good Afternoon, Bob. Here to join you for Super Tuesday
They're off from SB
Nice to see both teams in their traditional kits

Tranny surprisingly two up at the Shrews while Fleetwood Mac has taken the lead at the S.O.L. in a playoff six pointer
It's first vs second in L1 . Currently Coventry 0 Rotherham 0
The Baggies take the lead vs PNE, which is better than PNE taking the lead
Wahay! Luton are 1-0 up over Brentford. Well done, the Hatters!
A long goal kick that went for a high flying ride was headed on then Mounted wide after cutting in
Good afternoon, Bob. How are you, mate?
I've forgotten another match. We'll need some help from our country cousins Huddersfield with Bristol Titties today.
Doing well, mate. How's your Tuesday going?
Bayern should have taken the lead . A long ball from the back found Kingsley Coman . He played a one two with Thomas Mueller then shot into the side netting with just Willy Cabs to beat
Doing well, thank you for asking

In the top two showdown in L1, Rotherham takes the lead at Coventry, which is at St. Andrews this season
Chelsea caught out by a long ball again. Lew got behind Ridger and a close range block from Willy Cabs resulted in a Bayern corner headed wide by Serge Gnabry
Reece James collects a long diagonal pass that is cut out for a corner by David Alaba
I'm reasonably happy with the Championship scores right now. The Baggies are leading and a draw would be better but that's preferable to us than a PNE win. Baggies would be 7 points ahead of us pending our match tomorrow. PNE would be mired on 56 points, six points behind us, in 6th. The biggest plus right now is the Hatters 1-0 up on the Bees. That's very helpful.
The corner is headed down by Olly harmlessly to Neuer.
So far so good today. There also some Championship matches tomorrow.
QPR takes the lead vs the Rams
Olly plays Ross Barkley down the left and he puts in a good cross , which is just in front of Mason Mount, who was in a position to score.
Chelsea caught faffing about at the back as Alphonso Davies plays a through ball for Lew , but Willy Cabs rides out to gather in time.
Great close range block by Willy Cabs from Lew for a Bayern corner off a through ball from Thomas Mueller
Bob will be pleased that the Terriers have taken the lead vs Bristol City. That is not idle gossip about Bob.
Bayern nearly take the lead as a curling effort from Thomas Mueller from just outside the box is inches wide

The Hatters go two up vs the Bees. Bob must be delighted
In the other CL match, Belgian international, Dries Mertens , gives Napoli the lead vs Barca
Crikey - what's happened to Luton today! Well in, the Hatters!
Marcos Alonso fouls Kingsley Coman for a Bayern free kick. The free kick from Josh Kimmich is headed up in the air and easily gathered by Willy Cabs.
Neuer with a decent save from Marcos Alonso then Reese James has a cross deflected for a corner taken by Reese James and headed wide by Alonso
I thought you would be happy with the Hatters as the Bees are hibernating in Bedfordshire

Coventry ties it up vs Rotherham in the battle of the top two in L1
Oxford Shirts wear their way to going two up vs Accrington Stanley
Not at all pleased by that one. With a win tonight, Forest would be third on 59, a mere three points behind us. Fulham also play tomorrow night.
UWS will be delighted that Pompey has just taken the lead vs the Fake Dons. Now 2-1
The Shrews score, but trail Tranny 1-2
The second half is underway from SB.
Both teams wearing their traditional kits.
Great long ball from Jorginho finds Mason Mount with a close range effort blocked by Neuer then he blocks the rebound from Ross Barkley as the offside flag is raised
Bit of a bore in the Champions League tonight.

GOAL !!!! THOMAS MUELLER HAS GIVEN BAYERN THE LEAD WITH A TAP IN OFF A PASS FROM LEW
Along goal kick from Willy Cabs was headed on then Thiago found Thomas Mueller , who played it wide left to Lew , who passed back to Mueller for the easy finish
This match has been a decent match . Each side has had a few chances. Chelsea now faces an uphill battle.
The Shrews have come from two down to make it Desmond vs Tranny.
GOAL SERGE GNABRY PUTS BAYERN TWO UP WITH A GREAT FINISH PAST wILLY cABS
A long clearance from Neuer was headed on by Lew to Gnabry and a pair of one twos with Lew put through Gnabry , who placed it well with just Willy Cabs to beat
Oxford three up vs Accrington Stanley
Not good for Chelski - in a matter of minutes, this tie is just about over.
Chelsea being ripped apart this half as Bayern has a throw. Mueller gets behind Kovacic and his cross is volleyed over by Gnabry in the six yard box
Agreed, Bob. It's hard to see a way back for Chelsea against a side of this quality
Lamps makes a double change and they're like for like as Tammy Abraham is on for Olly and Willian is on for Ross Barkley

The best move f the half from Chelsea s a pass is played down the right for Willian , who plays a great pass into the box, but a blue shirt could not connect
The Bees pull one back at Luton as the Hatters have a slim 2-1 lead
GOAL BAYERN GOES THREE UP AS THE SPEED OF ALPHONSO DAVIES GETS HIM FREE DOWN THE LEFT AND HIS PASS IS EASILY TAPPED BY LEW. DAVIES EASILY GOT PAST THREE CHELSEA PLAYERS AND HAD THE FREEDOM OF SB TO PLAY THAT PASS FOR AN EASY GOAL FOR LEW.
The Tangerines back in the lead vs Bolton. Now 2-1
Pedro uses some trickery to get past two Bayern players in the box and p[lays a great pass , but no blue shirts up for an easy tap in
