Afternoon, chaps! With the Premier League as good is in the bag, not that anyone at the club is prepared to admit it, Liverpool are more or less free to focus on retaining the Champions League title they won at the Wanda Metropolitano last season.
Team news out of Madrid tonight:

TTA tries one from distance but it's well over the mark. But Pool are starting to get their groove back.
Liverpool have dominated possession since conceding the early goal without getting a shot off. The only chance was a cross from Athletico that Morata just failed to connect on.
The game is starting to settle into the pattern that we expected.
Having taken an early lead, Atletico seem content to sit back and let Liverpool have the ball, restricting them to sending crosses in from the flanks.
I noticed that too. That's a dangerous tactic for Athletico to use because it's virtually impossible to keep Liverpool without a goal for the entire match , let alone two legs. Surely, Liverpool will score at Anfield and possibly here
On A rare attack a cross from Koke is cleared by a sliding Andy Robertson for an Athletico corner. that was taken short. Allison easily gathered the cross.
Totally agree - 1-0 is not a scoreline that I would feel safe taking to Anfield.
OH!!!! Athletico nearly went two up.A poor back header from Van Dijck off a lobbed pass put Morata through with just Allison to beat, but he hesitated and Allison easily blocked his shot.
A minute later Liverpool nearly tied it up. A poor clearance from Athletico keeper, Jan Oblak found Salah alone on the halfway line . He went on a run ,played a one two with Bobby Chompers then scored past the stranded keeper, but it was disallowed because Chompers was well offside.
