Hal Willner's Last Project

We lost legendary music producer Hal Willner to COVID-19 back in April. At the time he was working on his latest tribute compilation project, dedicated this time to the music of Marc Bolan and his seminal glam rock band T Rex, which has just come out. Like his tributes to the likes of Nina Rota, Thelonious Monk, Kurt Weill and Charles Mingus, it pairs fascinating combinations of artists such as Todd Rundgren, Beth Orton, U2 and Donald Fagen.
