The First Sunday Morning Doubleheader of the Season
It's the first Sunday morning doubleheader of the season, starting with an all midlands match with the newly promoted Baggies at home to the Foxes who finished fifth last season. That kicks off at 9 on NBCSN. The final match kicks off at 11:30 on Peacock as the Spuds host the Toffees with both teams planning to qualify for Europe next season. Join me if you can for the action and banter

One of the teams we watched growing up is the Tractor Boys and it appears they will start the season with a win as they are two up vs Wigan heading into stoppage time
The Tractor Boys kick off their season with a 2-0 win vs Wigan
The Baggies vs the Foxes is underway from the Hawthorns
Morning, David - thanks for getting us going today. As I mentioned, the grading is piling up so I'll need to prioritize that today. But I'm enjoying a bit of the early one during my brekkies.
The Baggies looking pretty good so far.
Good morning, Bob. Back from the bog as James Justin fouls a Baggie just outside the Foxes box
Free kick off of Tielemans for a Baggies corner
Cheers, Bob. Glad to help and hope more people join in today
Still 0-0 a couple of minutes before halftime. Since the half hour mark the Foxes have forced three saves from Sam Johnstone. Two from Harvey Barnes, who had a half season loan spell with the Baggies a few seasons ago, who had two powerful shots straight at Johnstone beaten away and one from Vardy, who also had one beaten away
It's 0-0 at the half where the Foxes haver been the slightly better team and looking more likely to score
GOAL!!! TIMMY CASTEGNE HEADS THE FOXES INTO THE LEAD ON HIS DEBUT. A CROSS FROM JAMES JUSTIN WAS HEADED AWAY THEN JUSTIN PASSED TO TIMMY PRAET, WHO CROSSED FOR HIS FELLOW BELGIAN TO HEAD THE FOXES INTO THE LEAD
Long range effort from Praet deflected for a corner as the Foxes have turned up a couple of gears
Hal Robson-Kanu on for Cally Robinson
Corner headed away and a deflected shot from Harvey Barnes deflects to qa wide open Ayoze who taps in , but it's disallowed for offside
Long range free kick from Tielemans takes a nick and is tipped over by Sam Johnstone
Albrighton on for Ayoze
Vardy down off a collision with Baggies keeper, Sam John stone , off a poor back pass
The final rolls of the dice from Slaven. Kyle Edwards for Romaine Lettuce Tom Sawyers and Rakeem Harper for Darnell Furlong , which is about the distance his Baggies teammates are currently off the pace
PENALTY FOXES AS KYLE BARTLEY BRINGS DOWN VARDY
GOAL !!!!VARDY SCORES WITH A WELL PLACED SPOT KICK, SENDING JOHNSTONE THE WRONG WAY TO PUT THE FOXES TWO UP
It started from the back as Kasper passed it short then a nice long ball down the left played to Harvey Barnes , who beat the right back for pace then his near post effort was blocked by Johnstone and Bartley grabbed Vardy, who would have put away the rebound
Just wide by Harvey Barnes off a pass from the fourth president
ANOTHER PENALTY TO THE FOXES AS DARA O'SHEA CALLED FOR A TRIP ON JAMES JUSTIN
GOAL !!! VARDY WITH HIS SECOND PENALTY OF THE MATCH SAME SPOT AS THE FIRST PENALTY AND JOHNSTONE DOVE THE WRONG WAY AS WITH THE FIRST PENALTY AS THE FOXES ARE NOW THREE UP
The Foxes run out comfortable 0-3 winners as the gulf in class was really evident in the second half
I'm watching the Spuds vs the Toffees on Peacock from SFL 2.0
Just checking in during a break in grading. I'm really happy to see that the Baggies got hammered by Leicester. So, we start above the other two promoted sides, even though we lost at Anfield. Also, both Fulham and now WBA lost at home, while we lost away.
Bring on Fulham!
First great chance of the match. Ben Davies with a horrible back pass in the attacking half intended for Toby and it falls to Rich Arlison, who rounds Lloris and from a narrow angle shoot s high and wide. If he laid it off for Calvert-Lewin , he would have given the Toffees the lead with a simple tap in
Hello Bob. Hope you're having a productive morning. Leeds should handily defeat the Cottagers in their first Prem match t ER in sixteen years
Nice cross from the left from Number One Son and just a foot in front of Harry Kane and Not Able to divert it in for a Spuds lead
Textbook Spuds break off a Toffees corner headed away led by Lucas Mora and passes to Number One Son. He passed to Delle Alli, whose shot was tipped over by Pickford. Harry Kane not happy as he was the other option on the final pass
The Toffees two new signings combine as Doucorre against one of his former clubs, finds James Rodriguez and the first glimpse of his magic as he turns two Spuds defenders then shoots just wide from just outside the box
OH! Nice one two between Harry Kane and Matt Doherty as Pickford rushes out to make a nice kick save from Doherty. Nice chipped pass from Harry Kane
Nice one touch passing from the Toffees as Rich Arlison receives a pass from James Rodriguez and his shot from just outside the box is comfortably saved by Lloris
Only 25 seconds of stoppage time as it's 0-0 at the end of the half in a fairly even contest
Little Joe makes a half time substitution as he brings on Cissy for Delle . That makes sense as Delle was almost invisible except for one good scoring chance as the second half is underway
Andre Gomes with a shot deflected for a corner after Harry Winks coughed up possession after a cross was headed away
GOAL !!! CALVERT-LEWIN HEADS IN A FREE KICK FROM DIGNE TO GIVE THE TOFFEES THE LEAD
An attacking change from Little Joe as Steve Berg-Wine is on for Harry Winks
Another quick check-in. Gooner will be having a great Sunday on the prospect of the Spuds dropping their home opener to Everton.
Like for like as Siggy is on for Andre Gomes Addams
Yes. Steve will consider this a great Peacock LOB debut
Rich Arlison cuts inside Cissy then shoots a couple of feet wide
Nice long diagonal pass from James Rodriguez to Rich Arlison, who cut inside Matt Doherty then curled a shot just wide
The final roll of the dice from Little Joe as N'Dummy is on for Matt Doherty
Hoiberg booked for nasty challenge on Rich Arlison. The three announcers want a red just to stir up controversy
Like for like as Moise Kean is on for the scorer, Calvert-Lewin
A Barber Shop quartet of stoppage time minutes
The final roll of the dice from Ancelotti as he shuts up shop as Tom Davies is on for James Rodriguez.
It's over as The Toffees win 0-1 at SFL 2.0. A happy LOB Peacock debut for Steve
Sunshine squawks - "Little Joe Out!" LOL!
