Another Season Comes to an End
Unlike other seasons, most things are wrapped up. The Title was City's ages ago and the bottom three all sucked ages ago. All we have to look forward to is the race a Champions League place. Two out of Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester are hoping to be busy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and not Thursdays next season. Of course, NBC have continued to be worse in their coverage. Gone are the days of all the matches on the telly. Half of them have been put on The Cock
Here is the schedule and where to find them at 11 EST
Arsenal vs Brighton ... COCK
Villa vs Chelsea...USA
Fulham vs Newcastle ...COCK
Leeds vs WBA...COCK
Leicester vs Spurs...NBCSN
Liverpool vs Palace...NBC
Man City vs Everton....CNBC

Morning, Dave - thanks for getting us going this morning. You beat me to the punch with your thread, so I'm going to delete mine.
So, what do you think - is it going to be a routine morning or will it be a thrillfest?
Hi Bob,
I didn't mind you keeping yours!
I do hope there are some thrills in the three matches!!
Of course, I am hoping for a Palace win and Liverpool miss out on the CL in front of their fans!!!
I do think all three teams will win but my second wish would be Chelsea to lose out to Villa... they can win the CL Final and England would have FIVE CL spots!
United are looking for their undefeated away form to continue but they are are making it hard for themselves....
Man Utd XI: Henderson, Williams, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Alex Telles, Matic, van de Beek, Diallo, Mata, James, Elanga.
Subs: Lindelof, Rashford, Greenwood, Grant, Wan Bissaka, McTominay, Fish, Shoretire, Mejbri.
Resting for Wednesday
Again... POOR POOR NBC... I bet Becky is embarrassed by their coverage
Didn't expect that Aguero is only on the bench!!
Perhaps he's playing in the Final then!
Not sure how I am going to watch stuff today
United's match has nothing riding on it
I will probably watch it on the computer along with Leeds match
I will have 5Live on for the Chelsea match and be watching one of the other two big games
So the Championship Final is set
Brentford vs Swansea
I so hope Brentford win it... they have deserved it from the last couple of season
They would be the 50th different side to make the PL
My beloved are celebrating the end of a quite thrilling first season back in the Premier League with a home match against relegated WBA in front of 10,000 fans for the first time time March 2020. I hope we can finish this off in style. Come on, you Whites! #MOT!
Becky just said there is a Goal Rush channel... I don't see it
I'll be watching the Leicester v. Spurs match on the telly with the sound off and my Leeds boys on the phone with the volume pumping.
Most points from a promoted side since Ipswich finished 5th
I think I will tune in the Villa Chelsea match then
Our starting XI for today's match:
Kiko, Ayling, Berardi, Cooper, Alioski, Phillips, Dallas, Harrison, Hernandez, Raphinha, Rodrigo.
It's the last time in Leeds colors for Gjanni Alioski, Gaetano Berardi and Pablo Hernandez, which is why they start today. I expect to see Patrick Bamford off the bench at some point for a big ovation from the crowd.
No, I think 5Live has the match from Villa Park so I'll tune in another
That's a disgraceful stat for Chelsea. Top scorer for them this season - Jorginho with 7 goals!
Surprised of your keeper... why not start your #1 in front of the fans
Is he hurt?
In the Champions League race, I'm hoping that Leicester make it into one of those spots; I'd really like to see either Chelsea or Liverpool miss out.
In Serie A, Champs Inter won 5-1 this morning
The rest of the matches kick off at 2:45
If Napoli beats Hellas Verona, they make the CL and Juve are out!
Juventus need to win at Bologna and get help
Still can't find the goal zone link!!
Morecambe got past Tranmere this morning and meet Forest Green/Newport. Morecambe just missed out on automatic promotion. They have never been in the third tier
Tom just told me that Pope is out of the Euros with a knee injury!
So it will be Pickford, Henderson and Johnstone?
In the Europa League, I'd be happy to see West Ham and Arsenal finish in those spots. That would leave the Challenge League spot for Everton.
Again, Leicester could miss out on the CL for a second season in a row having spent 68 of 71 weeks in the top four
I still think the fans would all take the FA Cup win over the top four.... so it should be
CONFERENCE!!!
WHAT IS WITH YOU BOZOS!!!
Tom found the goal rush on PL TV on Cock
MOT!!!
Palace looked good last week but they don't have Benteke or Eza today
Eza out for the rest calendar year with an achilles
What a difference with just 10K fans in the stadium.
A lot of teams wearing new kits
Goal Rush is at Anfield to start
So, I will put on the Leicester Spurs match on the telly and have Villa Chelsa on the radio
Tuned in Elland Road for the fans but then putting on my lot...it's the law
We are off at the King Power
And we're away at Elland Road. MOT!
Early yellow card for Liam Cooper for an elbow smash.
Zebras playing at Molineux...not liking it... Red doesn't clash with Gold!
So an early free kick to defend.
Oh - Kyle Bartley, our old pal, might have scored with that header.
Settle it down, boys - I know that the emotions are high today.
Damn...that's a yellow for me
Good morning, Bob and Dave. Running a bit late . had as late lie in . now dealing with the repairman, but will comment as often as possible
Sorry, mate - Liam's always good for a yellow. Going forward, he's going to have trouble getting into the first team, with Llorente, Struijk and Koch around. I love Coop's heart but they're better options.
I go the two Man clubs on the telly
A yellow for Liam...bugger!
I need a win and and help to finish second behind Matt
Last season, I won the regular season and lost in the Final
This season there was no playoffs
Palace started well
Jack has the ball in the net but is flagged offside almost immediately. Shame.
We're starting to turn on the style now.
Elanga should've given United the lead
Rifles it over
Got the match from ER on the Cock.
The atmosphere is buzzing at ER. Great to hear the fans back.
Welcome, David - I hope you're having a good morning deep in the heart of Texas.
Who the hell is "Elanga?"
Again...it doesn't matter but I don't want United to lose an away match
In the first of the L2 playoff semis it Morecambe and Wise defeated Tranny 2-1 on agg. Will face Newport or Forest Green in the L2 playoff final
A lot of times on these type of days
It all seems to be going one way and then it all changes
So, whoever gets the upper hand first... will probably get screwed
over 10 minutes gone...NO GOALS
Than ks, Bob,. A bit crazy as we're moving out tomorrow then our sink had a leak yesterday. Being repaired and thhe has the estimate for other work after we move out
Already covered sleepyhead
Classic nutmeg there from Pablo - lovely moment.
Oh no! I hope that you can sort that out after the match.
Southampton go very close to taking the lead... Hammers only need a point
First goal... KDB gives City the lead
GAOL UNITED!!!
ELANGA WITH A GREAT HEADER FROM A GREAT CROSS
Pablo is pulling out all the tricks today - he's loving the moment.
James with a great cross.... that's more like it!
I thought I was "Bozo," not Sleepyhead. LOL!
Townsend goes just wide in front of the Kop
Liverpool look shaky!!
Both Manc clubs scored while I was in the kitchen dealing with the repairman in my best Spanish
Bob was the Bozo this morning....of course....you're the one that MADE UP Challenge League!
Just saw the replay . Nice cross
Well done, "Elanga," whoever the hell you are. ;-)
City double their lead!
YIKES! Citeh two up
VAR check for a penalty for Leicester now. Ref going to have a look. Looks a pen to me.
Leceicester want a pen.... it has to be given!!
STONEWALL!!!
Dragged his back leg!!
IT IS GIVEN...it should have taken one look!
Vardy to take.... come on Jamie.....ONE NIL
GOAL !!! LEEDS TAKE THE LEAD THROUGH RODRIGO
It is a penalty! Vardy to take....
YESSSSSSSS!!!!
Rodrigo stuffs in the first goal for us!
Vardy scores his penalty!
Leicester are now third
Great stuff!!
Arsenal and Leeds overtake Everton
Everton have 59 points....didn't they have 21 after 7 games?
As it stands
Leicester 69
Chelsea 68
Liverpool 67
We're level with Arsenal and Everton now but with worse goal difference. We'll need to turn on a clinic in order to jump over them if they both draw.
Just saw the Leeds goal on Goal Rush...great to see them celebrating in front of the fans
Fofana off in tears
End to end stuff at Elland Road. It's been a thrillfest like this all season.
Berardi nearly got in at the near post on that corner for a Roy of the Rovers moment on his last day.
Leeds have a better gd than Everton
You are 7 behind Arsenal
Rodrigo is on to seven goals now; Raphinha has nine assists.
You're right - I see that now that the tables have reshuffled on the Guardian site. We're up into 9th. Lovely.
Willock scores again... seven games in a row
0-1 Toon at Bob and Kate's
We also need Spurs to concede another 13 or so.
Why on earth did Arsenal let him go on loan?
Mount hits a chance over the top
Blades take the lead
Come on Napoli!
Juve miss out on CL
Ronny comes back to OT
Haaland in next season
Just over a quarter way thru the matches
All going well for Leicester and Chelsea
Goal Difference could make all the difference with Leicester and Liverpool.... oh how I wish Rashford scored with the last kick against Liverpool
That would have helped
The Hammers take the lead!!
Fornals with the goal
Not sure if I'm late on this because I'm late on everything today. Sutton defeated Jeff's lads 3-0 to clinch promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history
he two late goals at Turf Moor helped Pool too
We're giving the ball away too cheaply in midfield now.
Didn't see that
I'll have to make another sticker for my table...it will be the 13th new one I had to make
First decent chance for WBA. Robinson fires just wide. Phew!
Hammers double their lead
Fornals with a second!
I think Sutton is # 146 or 147. Their local rivals are the Real Dons. I think Bob hates Sutton, but thy got promoted fair and square
Bugger....Liverpool take the lead
Mane scores
Chelsea are now out
Four clubs fighting for the unwanted Conference League spot, all level on points: Spurs, Gunners, Toffees, and Leeds. Bob and Steve should be interested
Why would I hate Sutton?
Chelsea back in if they defeat Citeh on Saturday
Siggy misses a pen at Etihad
I just saw the replay of Ederson saving a penalty from Siggy. Not the best penalty , but a decent save
It's a real longshot for us; we'd need Spurs to lose by a bucket load and to win here by a cricket score.
WAYHAY.... CONFERENCE USED
Wolves tie it up
BUGGER! SEMEDO TIES IT UP FOR WOLVES
Berardi really seems game to get a goal. Let's have it!
I'm going to continue to say "Challenge" just to irritate you, Dave. Oh - and "Premiership." Pfffft!
Kane scores!!
Not good for Leicester
Nice one touch passing from Wolves and nice final pass from Fabio Silva and nice finish from Semedo
Bugger! Spurs have leveled it against Leicester.
That's Kane onto 23 goals now. Major implications for the PPP there.
Free kick to us now; Might be Raphinha territory.
Leicester are now in fifth
Now Leeds, Gunners , and Toffees one point out of the spot for the booby prize. An accurate description?
LEEDS DOUBLE THEIR LEAD!!
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Kal Phillips floats a free kick in and it completely evades Sam Johnstone!
2-0!
GOAL !!! LEEDS GOES TWO UP.NICE FREE KICK FROM KAL PHILLIPS, BUT AN UNUSUAL ERROR FROM SAM JOHNSTONBE, HORRIBLY MISJUDGING THE BOUNCE
My pal Wal with the goal
As I said, it always look to be going one way and it changes
AND NOW VILLA TAKE THE LEAD
Leeds a point out of a Conference League Spot. Bob may be rooting for Spurs today to avoid the booby prize
Liverpool and Leicester would qualify for the Champions as it stands. Chelsea would need to beat City next weekend. That also suits me.
Chelsea still fourth , but only by a goal difference of two
Fans at the King Power go nuts
If Chelsea finishes fifth and wins the CL then the Hammers would be the only Prem team in the EL?
Sorry - hard to keep up with all these goals flying in. I'll rely on you, mate.
Chelsea still in 4th
need a Leicester goal
Leeds two up at the half
Bob , sorry for not answering the Sutton question., Thought you hated them because of the cup result
I'm more than happy, but would love to see more goals in the second half.
VAR looking for a United pen
Not sure if it was given or not in first place
What is the Dean checking at Molieneaux?
It was given to start but it has been award by Mike Dean
Mata to take... scores
WAY HAY !PENALTY TO UNITED! A PRE SASISS CHECK BY THE DEAN FOR AN ALLEGED TRIP ON VDB
way hay! just a mata oif waiting for the var check as rui patricio was sent the wrong way and united now lead 1-2
United lead 1-23 at the half as the fans boo. Looked a pen even though it wasn't the most agressive trip
Sorry . lead 1-2
Bob and Steve biting their nails in the hopes of avoiding a Conference League spot. Sound about right?
NBC has Chelsea a point ahead of the Foxes while FOTMOB has Chelsea ahead of the Foxes only on goal difference , but level on points. Who is correct?
Oh - that's long since forgotten. We're a rubbish Cup side.
NBC off to bonus coverage at the KP. great atmosphere as it's 1-1
Second half underway from ER
We're back on at Elland Road and Patrick Bamford has joined the party. He'll be in the hunt to add to his 16 goals.
And now from the KP
FOTMOB lists Fat Sam as the Baggies manager. I thought he resigned
Off again around the country
Arsenal take the lead
Pepe scores
Chelsea makes a keeper change!
Does Steve know that the Gunners are one goal away from replacing their bitter rivals for that much coveted Conference League spot?
End of the season is when Sam leaves...just like Woy
Second half underway from Molineaux
It's all Leeds pressure right from the off - I want more goals.
And Nuno - I didn't expect him to leave Wolves.
Thanks for the update , Dave. Unlike Woy he will leave with a thud
Again, I want United to keep undefeated away...Arsenal's record close to be broken
HEE HEE! Steve's Gunners now in a Conference League spot. Will he celebrate?
Chelsea go close
Oh - Pablo with a great shot on the spin. The fans were willing that one to fly by Sam Johnstone.
I thought Nuno would leave due To Wolves poor season. I think the board wants them to challenge for CL footie
Leicester get another penalty!!
Bad news for Chelsea!!
Bob will you congratulate Steve if the Gunners finish 7th? Will the two Dave's?
Vardy is down again looking for another penalty now. It looked like right on the edge of the box to me. It is a penalty! What drama!
VAR will have a look
It was a flop but it could be given
I don't know why players dive... VAR will see it
It's given
Vardy to take again....up he comes...GOAL
2-1!!!
And Vardy slots home! Leicester are 2-1 up! Chelsea are back down to fifth!
CHELSEA ARE OUT OF THE PARTY BECAUSE OF VARDY
I really want a Palace goal!
Vardy is the one that caused the contact
Oh - Lord Bamford nearly in there but his touch let him down.
Oh - WBA nearly score one there. Alioski nearly netted. Just about did enough to clear it out.
OH! Matty Phillips with a deflected off the post then Ali nearly scores an OG while clearing for a corner
Then Cally Robinson with a long range shot turned around by Casilla for a corner
A penalty for Villa!!!
VAR will look
Chelsea whining.....Modern day it will be given
Jorginho is on a yellow too
This would be huge!!
Of course, I'll congratulate Steve on the Challenge League spot. It's European footie.
It's given
El Ghazi to take it....GOAL
Chelsea in trouble!
Oh - Raphinha was in there and should have been able to feed Patrick. Got it all wrong.
Vardy with a double of spot kicks and Chelsea now now to defeat Citeh on Saturday to be in the CL next season
I'm loving it - Chelsea should not be rewarded for this season. They're pants.
Fans at the King Power go nuts
More of a chance of Spurs drawing than Chelsea winning
Foden scores City's third
Kane had a chance there but skied it.
Arsenal are now ahead of Spurs!!
GOAL !!! CITEH GO THREE UP. TOFFEES COUGH UP THE BALL IN MIDFIELD . JESUS LEADS THE BREAK , PASSES TO STERL;ING TO FODEN FOR A NICE FINISH
Chelsea better not concede again... GD is now only one better!
Sam Johnstone spoils the party once more as Pablo fires on goal. He must score today.
Chelsea will be in the Cl if they defeat Citeh on Saturday. That would leave the Hammers as the only Prem team in the EL
12 more goals and Leeds are ahed of Spurs
Another goal at the Em.... for Pepe!
I'll watch the Conference League if the Gunners are participating
I'm happy with 9th. It's been a fabulous season for us.
Chelsea hate Spurs....they want them to score now!
What about the Challenge League? Who will qualify for that one? ;-)
Conference League footie just about wrapped up for the Gunners
Come on Leicester....get another one
Of course, a Palace goal would put Chelsea back in
BLOODY HELL Dan James more like Sid with that finish. well wide with just Rui Patricio to beat
An atrocious effort by James one on one with the keeper!!
