Why dont Canada wear red/?
I look at the foreign legion for the Canucks and wonder if the US's immigration policy was more humane whether the likes of Larin, David, Davies, and Buchanon would be US players.
Still so ticked off this match isn't available on a TV set in the US!!

Half-time: Neither side has looked particularly good this afternoon. The US have dominated against a Canadian side that has sat back for the most part and absorbed pressure. A draw is looking increasingly like a good result for the US today.
All to do in the second half, so typical Beer-holder ball performance. I don't care if Pepi crapped in Greg's Weeties, he simply must be given a go at the expense of Zardes. Zardes is a second half guy, a bod you throw on when we've run their defenders ragged.

I have the NFL on the TV, WCQ in one window on the computer and another window with England vs Windies in T20 Cricket
There's a real difference when the Canadians get position and push the ball forward to Buchanon and Larin. They started to attack with real purpose. After the goal, the Canadians were happy to defend deep, denying the threat of Dest and Robinson. The US is too deliberate in the buildup, and our passing is not successful enough. All of the passing finds a player who has to make a real effort to control it. Second half started. C'mon USA. Just be better!!!
Canada now four points up on the US in second. Mexico play the Ticos later on, which gives them an opportunity to jump over the US into second. Panama play Jamaica. A win there would put them within a point of the US in fourth. This would be a very bad match to lose.

I just read the comment about Lamps being named the new Toffees manager. I think he will flop and a sign as two how far the Toffees have declined that he's the best manager willing to manage there. The U.S. has the players but they're horribly run. USSF is a shambles and they have horrible managers

Steve and I were chatting about this the other night. I think the problem with the strategy of getting as many US players to Europe is that they're not consistently playing for their clubs. Pulisic is a good example of that - he rarely gets a match for Tommy Tuchel.

Could have easily conceded a second there - that's the danger with this Canadian side as the US increasingly get desperate for the equalizer.
I think Mexico might do their customary round of sixteen elimination if they improve like the one WC where they qualified via a playoff vs the Kiwis.
I think it's more tactical naivety . Some of the U.S. players play regularly , but the tactics from Beer Holder are naive at best

I think if players go to a club like saints or Toon then they should be regulars , but not one of the top clubs like Chelsea.Puli did well with Dortmund. Perhaps the Bundesliga is better for the U.S. players
