Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Footie Trivia Question of the Week

This is a good 'un this week and I'll be surprised if any of you get this one quickly.

"Which is the only club who has won the European Cup/Champion's League more often than it has won its own domestic championship?"

Good luck, lads - and remember - no Net cheating!!

I KNEW THIS IN ONE SECOND!!!
They won the league championship once in 1978 and won the European Cup twice in 1979 and 1980.
It was Nottingham Forest.

Please, gimme a hard one!!

Well done, Dave. I'll try to raise the bar a bit in the future.

It's impossible to stump Davey, Bob. Every minute he's not working or not watching the World Cup because he's larking about in the pool, he's swotting endless football information. Consequently, the question to stump him just does not exist.
