Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

So, what does everyone think about tonight's games?

As you can imagine, I am thrilled about tonight's happenings.
United cruise against Charlton. Goals from Fletcher, Saha and Solskjaer!!
Chelsea looking really ordinary but still leading but give away two goals and lose. The last few years they would have won it. Also following the Arse losing at home to Dinamo Z. .Sadly, they get an equalizer with 13 minutes left and then go on and win the bloody thing in injury time. Oh well, the night couldn't quite keep perfect.
As I said in the Trivia blog, I called the Roy Keane to Sunderland. I swear I told all you lot but I know I told my mates up here during the World Cup
Feeling good in Scotia.

Wow, Jose just said that his team had the wrong attitude.
He didn't blame the ref!!!!
Again, Keane to Sunderland with the help of Brian Kidd. That could be quite good.

I would imagine you are a happy chappy tonight, Dave. I'm sorry that I missed that Chelski match on FSC. I was driving at the time. How was Sheva's goal? You mentioned that you were surprised by Jose's lack of excuses - were there any controversial moments?

And the Arse are now through alongside Liverpool, you lot and Chelski. Tomorrow's draw should be interesting, with Chelski not being seeded.

You heard the prediction of Chelski being weaker this season here first. I could see the weak spots in their pre-season matches and this is just the start. I reckon they'll drop a few more points in the first two months and then the questions will start. Expect Liverpool, ManYoo and the Arse to be up near the top by Labor Day.

At the same time, this will be a tighter season than the last two, with no clear leader running away with it. Should be much more exciting.

Oh, and Norwich are through to the Carling Cup Second Round - well done, the Canaries.

No, there weren't many controversial moments.
I really thought that Boro played the better. Sheva's goal was not that good. I thought it could have been saved.
Two late goals from Boro. The first was a classic header and the second was a deflected shot.
The best incident was fifteen seconds into the second half. Boro kicked off and the ball came to the sideline near the tunnel. All of a sudden, Drogba came out late from the tunnel and snuck on the field and took the ball away from Downing. He got booked straight away and then kept flapping his mouth and almost got sent off.
The match is repeated tonight at 8.

2-1 Arsenal was the final score you mug after we put the tie out of bounds two weeks ago. 5-1 on agregate. Tell you what, if you're still having problems with reading comprehension, those boys of yours who have inherited their brains from Kathy can help you with the two-syllable words from here onwards until I can arrange some dosh from Arsene's "Send a Muggins to Remedial Reading School" Foundation. You can refer to it as SMRRS if that was too hard for you. You're a sad, sad, little manC.

?
I don't get your attack on me Mr. Dahlgren!!!
I said that the Arse equalized with 13 minutes to go and then win the bloody thing!!!
If my math is right, that would make it 2-1!!!!!!
