Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

News from Stamford Bridge.
A four page feature on the William Gallas saga in the match program.
More news to come.
The Blues are one up over the Reds. The Aussie wonderboy with the goal!!
AJ with #2 for the Blue half of Liverpool
Half time at Goodison
Everton are two nil
All of you are sleepy heads!!!!!!!!!!
oooh.. Cashley is only on the bench for Chelski. Bridge gets the start
When is Cash going to ask for a move away from The Bridge because through lack of playing time!!!
Hiya Davey,
Cashley isn't the strongest mentally. I think this is good management to keep him out for a week.
Interesting half-time scoreline up in Merseyside.
I was going to say I would sign off soon to watch mes garcons, but now that we're not quite so French anymore, I'll have to think about that.
Hello Gooner.
His mental state was good enough for England twice this week.
Another goal at Goodison
THREE NIL to the Blues
AJ with another
Classic mistake by Reina in the Liverpool goal.
I can't wait to see it. They are calling it Pantomime stuff.
Game over
Three nil to the Blues
There is some good news and some bad news.
Bad news.... Everton have knocked United off the top of the table if only for a few hours.
Good news... Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all lost so far this season.
Life is good.
Galllas is in for Arsenal.
He is at left back. Didn't he complain about that with Chelsea?
Gallas' number is 10!!!!
Great number for a left back... I HATE IT!!!
Pele, Maradona, Gallas
Ipswich already losing at home to Sotton
Chelski are one up... bugger
It just doesn't look right Arsenal playing at this stadium
BORO HAVE SCORED!!!!!
Good goal
Just heard on talksport at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba went down as if he was poleaxed. The Chelsea players just kept playing so he decided to get up.
I hate him
Half time at The Emirates
Arsenal 0 Boro 1
Arsenal are still trying to walk the ball in.
They did finally start shooting.
The goals will come.
Not many goals in the Prem at half
Only Boro and Chelski have scored.
Jimmy Bullock may have broken his leg for Fulham.
Where are you Robert???
Jimmy Floyd has scored for Charlton!!!!!
Newcastle one up against Fulham
Man off for Boro.
Boateng is off for a second bookable offence. I don't think it was much.
Chelsea are up again
Chelsea scored after 17 seconds of Cashley coming on.
He didn't have anything to do wth the goal but...
The radio has just said that he never booked Boatang never was booked in the first place.
Penalty for The Arse
Bugger
The radio has said that Euell was the one that was booked in the first half not Boateng. He definitely gave him a yellow before the red so it wasn't a straight red.
GRAHAM POLL IN REVERSE!!!!
There is only one winner in this match
Dislocated knee cap and probable ligament damage for Jamie Bullard
Each team has missed a penalty at Bramall Lane
Ipswich are two one up
Sheff Utd miss their second penalty of the game. Three spot kicks saved in this match.
Lamps misses a penalty as well. IT'S TWELVE YARDS!!!!!
Fulham scores again. They are going to get a win at St. James' Park.
Hey, United's FIVE - ONE HAMMERING of Fulham maybe be a really good result.
Four minutes of injury time at the Emirates
Why didn't Rosicky take a shot?
I wish the commentator would pronounce his name right.
Game over and it ends 1-1.
Chelsea win 2-1.
NOW COME ON UNITED!!!!!
Bolton scores a late late pen.
Ipswich win Norwich lose
It is definitely a mistake by the ref. He showed a yellow then a red but he hadn't been booked.
Again, G. Poll in reverse.
Keane's Black Cats come from behind to win 2-1.
They have just showed Old Trafford but it is not live.
The corner of the stadium that has the new seats don't have the new seats!!!
Well, I am still going to be here for the United match.
WHERE HAS EVERYONE BEEN!!!!
Well, I have had fun.
Just saw the classic goalkeeping by Reina and defending by Carragher
Juventus have been held to a draw in their first game of Serie B. HAHAHAHAA
Why aren't Spurs wearing WHITE!!!
The BBC website says that Boateng did get booked earlier. Maybe Talksport has it all wrong
Well, five minutes gone and United have done nothing
United are one up!!!!!!
I like Carrick's passing so far.
What a lovely thought
This Day in United History
09 September 1959
United thrashed Leeds 6-0 at Old Trafford, with two goals apiece for Dennis Viollet and Warren Bradley, and one each for Bobby Charlton and Albert Quixall.
Loverly jubberly
I am not liking how this game is going.
United don't look good except for Carrick spraying the ball around.
NOW COME ON UNITED!!!!
WE ARE GIVING THE BALL AWAY.
BLOODY HELL!!!!
NOW COME ON
Well, we're up at half but not very impressive.
I have really enjoyed the banter today boys. You guys have been hilarious!!!
Second half underway and still at home.
At least Kathy is watching the game with me.
Very upset in Scotia... this is terrible..but we're still winning
At last United have put a few attacks together
Phew...free header from Defoe
75,453 A Premiership Record
Phew... another header chance for Spurs.
Spurs should have had two headed goals today.
This would be a real scrappy win for us.
Do we have Celtic on our mind?
This Wed. live on ESPN2
Liverpool vs PSV on Tuesday.
3 minutes of injury time
Come on United... hold on!!!
Please not like last year, three straight wins and then give away a last minute equalizer to Man City.
Phew... GOAL KICK
Come on Ref... blow you whistle
That's it!!
A not very impressive display at all but I will take the three points. 100% record and top of the league and easy game at Old Trafford next week against a team fourth from bottom.
Life is good.
Wish others were here to join me today but I had fun anyway.
Think of me tomorrow morning. We have our first outdoor game. I am so out of shape it is going to be hell.
Take care fellas
Dave
