Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Come back Graham Poll, All Is Forgiven.

All credit to Davey for finding this video, but his link was broken. This is a Portuguese language version. If another English language one comes up, someone switch this one. For the moment though, watch what the ballboy does at the beginning of this clip. Then watch what happens because the ref was not watching the ballboy. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Davey, good catch. This was flying around today and getting a lot of attention. I understand that the ref here has been invited to NEVER REF AGAIN!!! Hilarious. If only one of those German kids had knocked one in for us against the Portugeezers!!!

I love it! Brilliant stuff. I reckon that Dave scored a goal like that once - cheating bastard.

After looking at it again for perhaps the tenth time, my favorite bit is how one of the strikers in red - after he twigs to the idea that the ref is actually going to give the "goal" - wheels away with arms raised Supermac-style as if to claim it. They should have chaired the ball boy off at the end of the match, I reckon. Magic!

Not to pile on the misery Davey, but what has Eamon Dunphy got against Man Utd? I always thought he was a true believer for you lot until I read his comments on Rio, Carrack, and the Yernighted midfield. Is it that his head is so far up Roy Keane's ass that he's lost touch? I'd point you to the actual quotes, but you no doubt already know where to find them.
