Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Here's the side in White running out on the hallowed Elland Road turf this afternoon:
31. Tony Warner
2. Gary Kelly
6. Paul Butler
26. Matthew Kilgallon
3. Stephen Crainey
17. Sebastien Carole
4. Jonathon Douglas
7. Ian Westlake
11. Eddie Lewis
22. Ian Moore
9. David Healy
With Eirik Bakke sold at the eleventh hour back to Norway, it opens some space for a regular team place for the exciting Seb Carole. Ian Moore replaces the suspended Geoff Horsfield. Looks a good side.
15 minutes gone: Not a lot of action so far. If anything, Wolves have edged it with a couple of off target shots.
Our keeper Tony Warner has just taken a free kick Chilavert style. That's exotic stuff for the boys in white.
30 Minutes: Ooh, Ian Moore should have had one there. He hit it straight at the keeper.
Half-time: 0-0; we're just about controlling it now, with six clear shots on goal. But we should have the guile to be able to turn over a side that's running Carl Cort out up front. Really!
60 Minutes: Still no breaking the deadlock - come on Leeds!
Last moments of the match - we're all over these mugs. Come on!
90th minute - And Gary Breen has won it for Wolves. I'm shattered. It's another late goal that we've given up. Something must be done by Blackwell on the training pitch to stop the rot. We should have had this one in the bag.
Scratch that - it's Jay Bothroyd who's scored for Wolves. The game's almost over now.
Full-time - 0-1 Gutted.
Sorry Bob, I just got back from my match. I hate Wolves ever since they beat my lot at Summers. I recorded the West Ham game and am watching it now.
We won our game 5-2. We played for most of the game with 10 men. Our sweeper back got sent off for his mouth.
I scored our second.
Is Blackwell a gonner?
If so, how about Curbishley/
Nice picture on the main page by the way
I hope not. I quite like Blackwell but he's got his work cut out for him this season. I don't know what's going on with Paul Butler and Matthew Kilgallon - our center backs. They're giving up a lot of late goals from set pieces - usually the sign that the work hasn't been done on the training ground. Also fitness may be an issue. I don't know because I never get to actually see the games.
I liked the look of Tevez today, although he couldn't quite inspire a win over a Villa side that have been vastly improved by Martin O'Neill.
Ouch! I can tell you're taking this MSI takeover stuff well, Trev. I'm with you. I know that the Leeds are in the crapper - currently 16th in the Coke - but at least Sheffield United haven't initiated takeover talks quite yet.
