Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Footie Riddle of the Week

With the Champions League coming up again this week, here's a topical trivia question:

"The current top three goalscorers in this year's Champions League competition all play for British sides. Name the players and their clubs, please."

Good luck, lads.

You've got Crouch and Kenny Miller from Celtic. But you still haven't got the #1 top scorer with four goals yet. It's not Henry.

I'm afraid it is - four goals in three games to date. Let's hope one of those Barca assassins breaks his leg today, eh?

I'm hoping Gudjonson scores a hat-trick, one with his left, one with his right, and one off a penalty from a Carvalho hatchet-job tackle.

Why doesn't somebody just jump the velvet rope and give that ponce Mourinho a broken nose? He must have twenty minders the size of Giant Haystacks to keep the baying hordes away from him. But please, somebody give the f****r a slap!!!
