Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

A Wise Decision?

According to Bob's open letter to Captain Birdsey, he doesn't agree with this decision.
Could it be a brilliant move or will he be gone by the end of the season?
He seems a little fickle. He fell out with board at Millwall, left Sotton's coaching staff and now has stiffed Swindon.
Get your mapquest ready for a Wednesday night trip to Yeovil Town next season?

Boy, this really seems premature with Paul Hart just so recently out of a job.

Davey's enumerated all the reasons not to invite the cheeky chappie into the dugout. What other than his availablity are the reasons to make him managers? Even a reason would be good.

Never liked him as a player - I'm sure I'll feel the same about him at Elland Road. It's one more nail in the Leeds coffin. What more can I say?

Oh, thanks for the well wishes, Dave. I wish you an unholy thumping at the hands of Crewe on Wednesday.

1-3 Southend. Is it too early to call for "Wise and Poyet Out, Out, Out!"

If it were only that easy. I would imagine that Wisey is from the kind of East End dockland area where picking locks is a skill learned just after walking.

Tell you what, maybe your third-string reserves can play and get a result. Works for us.
