Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Oh, I know, I know, I know....Brian Clough!
No, honestly I haven't a clue. The only players that I can think of that have experience playing for either Real or Athletico Madrid are Woody and that bloke from Bolton, neither of whom have ever played for a Liverpool, London or Manc. based team.
Wrong

Claude Makelele?
Nope

How about Mikel Arteta? I know he's Spanish - dunno if he's played for the Madrid teams. He's at Everton. Has he played in Manchester and London - dunno. It's worth a guess.
Btw, if it turns out to be one of those trick, jokey answers you love - like the same linesman, goal netting or Carlsberg hoarding has appeared in all those games - I'm giving you a thump on the arm like Joel Hunter used to give you, albeit long distance!
No it isn't Areta and no it is not a trick question.

Okay, I really think I have it this time - it's that old Gooner Nicolas Anelka, isn't it? Not sure where he's playing now, but I know he's played for the Arse, Real, Liverpool and Citeh, so I'm pretty sure it's him.
Well done!!!
Persistence payed off.
He is playing for Bolton
I wish I was.
I have my own TWO games a week
We had a game last night. I don't really like this league. We play against all these 20 year olds. They are just too fast. They are also jerks. They play the game dirty and cheat all the time.
We lost 8-6
Sir Trev: I'll be in D.C. next week for the CUFA conference that I mentioned while you were here in Jax. My speech is Thursday morning. I'll probably hang at the conference on Friday too, but I'm leaving Saturday and Sunday open to hang with Gooner and the family. Let's do summit, eh?
