It's the final that we all wanted to see - the "Super Classico" - Brasil vs. Argentina. Everyone is expecting the Argentinian side, which has been performing like a well-oiled machine, to edge out the underwhelming Brazilians today, but you never know. Join me to find out.

The team news doesn't bode well for the Brazilians either. Their spiritual leader, Gilberto Silva, is out and replaced by the ineffective Elano, while the Argies are steady as they were.
Among the other fascinating match-ups today, keep an eye on the contest for Golden Boot between Robinson (6 goals) and Riquelme (5 goals).
And off we go....I've been looking forward to this all weekend. And Ray Hudson - that great big werewolf - is on board for the match. Excellent!
We already see the intentions of Brazil, with Mineiro wrestling Tevez to the ground in the opening moments. Will the Jogo Bonito boys be able to physically shut down Riquelme, Messi and Tevez?
Oh, what a goal from the Beast! 1-0 Brazil. Messi started it by giving the ball to Elano, who played a massive ball out wide to Baptista, who jinked inside and launched a bullet into the back of the net. Great start to the match!
The replay shows that Abbondonzieri didn't even move when Baptista hit that rocket, just stood there and watched it sail in. Wow!
Oh! What a move! Messi is sprung wide, hits a great cross, Veron nods down to Riquelme who slightly slices it and it smashes against the post. This is a corker!
Nice free kick opportunity for Riquelme but for once the magician fails to beat the first man. Unusual - he can usually put it right on someone's noggin.
Dazzling run from Messi on the wing wins a corner....
And Ayala nearly got to the delivery.
Ooh, that was nearly a banana skin. Maicon hit a deflected shot and Abbondonzieri almost spooned it into the net. He hasn't inspired confidence.
And another nice move from Maicon on the right wing produces a lovely cross ball that could've easily gone in. Good pressure from Brazil here. They're exposing the weakness in the Argentinian backfour here.
The Beast really seems to be up for it here, but it's unusual to see Brazil basing their strategy around quick breaks out of the back.
Nice stuff from Tevez there, skinning Maicon and then crossing toward Veron. They could really use a target man like Crespo, who just happens to be fit and on the bench ready to go today. We'll see him later - along with Pablito Aimar - if this stays the same.
Again a cross comes over looking for a big man at the back post and it's only Tevez there. Will this be the future for ManYoo?
The Brazilians are double teaming both Messi and Tevez, thus reducing their effectiveness. Good defensive work from them.
Bit of Brazilian gamesmanship here with Elano time wasting. That's sad to see. Well, maybe not. Danny Alves is up and off the bench and seems to be preparing to come on.
Oh, another cross ball goes begging for the Argies. Cambiasso squared it and no one was prepared to stick it in.
Riquelme nearly equalizes again there. Tevez made the chance, wriggling through at the top of the box. He was clogged but it ran to Juan Roman who hit it first time but it was well saved by Doni. I'll tell you what - Doni is perhaps the best keeper Brazil has ever produced.
Alex goes into the ref's book and I think that was for an accumulation of offenses, mainly against Tevez.
Oh, what a clanger there from Ayala. Own goal! To be fair, Alves put in a brilliant ball and there was very little that Ayala could do.
Brazil 2-0.
Well, this is truly a sensational score line at 3-0 for Brazil. Danny Alves has come off the bench and totally energized this Brazil side, who are romping it now.
Very disappointing by Argentina.
They were favorites!!!
Brazil get on my nerves!!
The '70 and '82 teams were the only ones that played great football.
The others have just given a pass by everyone.
