Tevez Joins ManYoo - Season Over?
The news that Carlito is on his way to Old Trafford on a two-year loan deal has provoked a few questions in my mind:
1) Is the Premiership season over before it starts?
2) Will the Roon/Tevez partnership - let me be the first to call them "Shrek and the Hulk" - rank as the ugliest in world football history?
3) And most importantly, can we get some of the United "sloppy seconds" down at the Elland? I mean, we'll have Smithy back, no questions asked. On a free of course....and he'll have to be paid in cups of tea...in a cracked cup and all...

The following is an official statement from West Ham United Chairman Eggert Magnusson...
"Carlos Tevez is a registered West Ham United player, contracted to the Club until June 2010.
"There is no agreement with West Ham United for Carlos Tevez to leave the Club and we expect him to return in time for next season's preparations.
"No decision on his future can be reached without the agreement of West Ham United."
In other words, he's a Hammer until Chelski pays up!
That statement reads a lot like those "heckuva job, Brownie"-style statements from the Bush administration typically issued days before they throw someone under the bus. Remember the Bush press conference just before last fall's election in which he expressed "full confidence" in Rumsfeld? Two days later, Rummy was out the door.
Sorry mate, I reckon he's gone. But cheer up, Dean Ashton should be fit!
I am not sure he is definitely going to Old Trafford but he is certainly out of Upton Park.
I don't think there is room there anyway.
How many players has Curbs bought so far? More to come as well!
