Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Footie Trivia Question of the Week

There were two hat-tricks for two different sides in the Premiership this past weekend, which got me to thinking:

"Which three players have each scored hat-tricks for three different Premiership sides?"

Good luck, lads!

Nic, the sulk, Anelka is one of them, no?

Shearer's probably another. Fowler?

Nope, none of those are on the list. Sorry.

Anelka no doubt scored a hat-trick for you lot and probably one for Bolton but evidently didn't score one for either Liverpool or Citeh. Good guess though.

Shearer's the same story. Definitely a hat-trick for Blackburn and one for Newcastle but not for a third such as Southampton, where he started.

Fowler? He's all about Liverpool. He was hopeless for us and Citeh and should be in the MLS.

Wrong on Andy Cole, who definitely got hat-tricks for Newcastle and United but not for anyone else.

But RIGHT on Ready Ted. So who did he score those hat-tricks for?

Sorry, mate. He famously scored a hat-trick for us against Pool, but I don't think he's done the same for either Boro or Newcastle.

Right, here are the answers:

1. Teddy Sheringham (Spurs, United, Pompey)

2. Les Ferdinand (QPR, Newcastle, Spurs)

3. Kevin Campbell (Arsenal, Forest, Everton)
