Revolution vs. D.C. United
It's the Eastern Conference clash of the titans tonight on ESPN 2 at 7:30 p.m. D.C. have the legacy with five MLS Cups under their belts whereas the Revvies have the momentus this year. It's up at our patch in Foxboro, MA so I'm hoping for a consummate performance. I was cheering for the D.C. boys last Saturday night with the Gooner but not tonight.
Come on you Revvies!

Here are the sides for tonight:
Revs: Reis, Heaps, Parkhurst, Albright, Joseph, Larentowicz, Castro, Thrompson, Nyassi, Dube, Ralston.
D.C.: Wells, Namoff, Mediate, McTavish, Martinez, Simms, Quaranta, Fred, Gallard, Moreno, Emilio,
And we're off....!
I've been loving these African boys this season, especially the Gambian boy Nyassi on the right. His compatriot Mansally is off on national duty tonight. Then there's Kheli Dube, who's scored the winners in our last two matches. They've really taken off the pressure since we've been missing Twellman and Ralston most of the season.
Dube looked a bit static there, unable to bring the ball down. It's my first look at him. He looks to be a big, strong lad in the Drogba mold. Let's hope he can keep rattling in the goals like Drogs does.
Emilio nearly turned Jay Heaps there but the Revs defender did well to hold him off. It's been a good opening with lots of flowing play so far. Wish I was up at the Boro for this one. I hope to swing by sometime in the fall.
Brilliant save from Matty Reis from a Simms blast. He kept us in it there. Fred set the midfielder up nicely for a shot and he launched it.
The Fort is in good voice tonight.
Gallardo's causing us trouble down the left side. Got to shut him down pronto.
Bugger! D.C. 1-0 up. It was coming to. Emilio reacted sharply after Reis coughed the ball up from a Simms shot.
Half way through the first half and we're still not finding the real breakthroughs.
Moreno drew another quality save from Reis. We could easily be two or three down here.
Tommy Smyth is confirming that ESPN have got Andy Gray on board to do color work for them during the Euros. Magic!
Bit of handbags here at the end of the half between Shalrie Joseph nad Emilio.
Coming up on half time. Stevie Nichol's going to have to change things at the half.
Oh, Nyassi found Dube in the area and he should have buried it. Great save from Wells though.
Half time: 1-0 D.C.
Second half starting...Emilio's third goal of the season the difference between the sides so far.
Nice run by Nyassi but he shoots wide of the near post.
Bugger! It's 2-0. Fred with the second, beating Reis and Parkhurst with his shot.
I'm off to watch the Lost finale.
I've just turned over during the ad break to see Dube nodding in the equalizer. I have no idea who scored our first but it's three in three for the big Zimbabwean.
Full-time: 2-2. It looks like we dodged a bullet there with late goals from Cristman and Dube.
