Another Big Day Upon Us
Join me for another big day for our favorite squads
I want my United to keep up their great run against Villa.
The Arse needs to get back on track against Citeh.
Cheski should have a home banker against Newcastle.
Costa should have the same at home to Fulham.
Last but not least, Leeds will want to make Jeff Stelling's day miserable with a home win against Hartlepool
Hope to have some company

Morning, Dave! This week I'll I'm posting from Jacksonville in my blogging tour of the states.
Last week, I got a league topping 140 points on the predictions. Here are mine for today:
Chelsea 3 Newcastle 0
Liverpool 2 Fulham 0
Citeh 1 Arsenal 2
Boro 1 Bolton 1
Pompey 2 Hull 2
Stoke 1 WBA 0
Villa 1 United 3
Spurs 1 Blackburn 1
Sunderland 0 West Ham 0
Wigan 1 Everton 2
The big news out of Blighty is that Arsene Wenger has dropped his captain William Gallas after a mid-week training session bust-up. Sacre bleu!
Magic! I'm getting the FSC feed with the Premier League preview through the Chelski link.
Morning Bob,
I was wondering if you were going south for Thanksgiving.
You don't have the TV coverage?
Will ManYoo be second tonight?
Karen doesn't have FSC on her system but I'm getting it crystal clear through Veetle.
What do you mean second? They are on FSC at 12:30
Leeds start the day tied for sixth. Jeff Stellings get stuffed - we need a win against Hartlepool!
Yeah, sorry, when I looked at the tables again, there's no chance for you to catch Liverpool today. It's a two horse race, isn't it?
Big Phil to wee Mikey: "Drop Dead!"
Drop Dread to you too about it being a two horse race!! NEVER... UNITED WILL CLOSE THE GAP
the ticker along the bottom of FSC says that Benayoun is upset with the lack of starting opportunities! What did he expect
Breaking news... Rory Delap WILL NOT compete in the Javelin in the Olympics!!!!
Come on NEWCASTLE!!!!!
I'm off for a walk on the beach. Be back in a tick.
Go Blow!!!! It is bloody freezing here!!
We're off at the Bridge
I am looking for a good link for the Citeh Arse game
All the Arse commentating is gobbledegook
Good start by the Toon. We all know that is going to change.
Why can't Newcastle play like they did at OT on opening day?
Histon have taken the lead at home to Oxford.
Beware Robert, beware
MK Dons have taken the lead
Great save by Given from a Lampard header
Bolton has taken an 8th minute lead at the Riverside
Stoke and Fulham have earned more points at home than Chelsea!! Of course, Chelsea have a 100% away record
Bolton are two up
This Iraqi commentator is just like JP Dellacamera! He gets excited for a defensive throw-in
Not exactly like Bob's walking on the beach but I have to take Tom to his basketball practice.
I'll be back in a tick
Morning lads. I'm getting the AFC feed through IraqGoals Channel one.
Pretty clear although I think Piltdown Sam is the color guy. So far he's spotted that Citeh are defending with nine men. Spotters badge you plank.
www.iraqgoals.com/en/ch1.html
Now Sam's calling for the reinstatement of Gallas. I may switch to the Arabic if he keeps this up.
Not a whole lot happening at the COM. Both teams lacking a bit at the moment. Robinho and Benjani lurking.
Nasri is being bullied by Zabaleta. Bendtner is customarily slow and RVP hasn't had a sniff since he was mugged at the halfway by that Egyptian midfielder.
Benjani just came alive just now and tried a difficult bit of skill that didn't come off. Almunia colleects.
You have an English feed?
Boy, that was very close by Cashley
Histon are three one up
Be scared Bob
I have chosen the second choice under Iraqi goals and it is English
Davey, there was a really good piece written by an Arsenal blogger about how the leader for Man United through it's string of successes has been Ferguson. I'd say that Cantona and Keane played pivotal roles on and off the pitch, but I think the point is interesting that Wenger has made decisions like the Henry and Gallas captaincies, that you can't imagine Ferguson making. SAF's never promoted someone for making trouble.
I am having trouble with it. The commentating doesn't go with picture
Scunthorpe and Leicester are drawing 1-1 as are Leeds and Hpool
Joe Hart with a good save from Nasri's free kick and Nasri can't keep the follow up down.
Another free coming up after Citeh collect but lose the ball and foul. Richards not looking very clever there. Two frees in 3 minutes.
Again, Costa not winning at home but will find a way to win late....I hope not
Pompey are beating Hull
Newcastle go close. Their first chance
I agree with that Arsenal blogger
What a horrible sight on the TV. Some big fat Chelsea fan with no shirt on!!! Please, not again
Bugger, the Sunnis must have attacked the the generator because my Iraqgoals feed is toast.
Not I'm reduced to a Brazilian or Portuguese mob commentating.
Still not a lot of bite to this match. Citeh's attack not got into it at all. Arsenal all about the build-up, which breaks down at the first sight of goal. You have to notice that now that Bendtner has been handed this big chance while Adebayor heals, and Eduardo heals, he's not taken it. He's a stud for the Danes, but I take it they aren't big on the patient build-up. He may just not be able to thrive in these circumstances. I'd say he may need to move clubs before too much failure stink attaches.
Benjani goes close with a header for Citeh
Leeds go in all square as do Chelsea Newcastle
Citeh have taken the lead. It is that Ireland again
Oh man, Benjani completely lost Silvestre but his header is still...
Shit! Ireland pounces on a through ball to chip in a goal. Right at the death of the half. That's bad.
Costa are scoreless at Anfield. Let's hope that continues.
Citeh have taken the lead to half time
All the scores going well for my lot but we all know Chelsea and Costa will score in the second half. I am sure so will Arsenal
That is a bloody long walk on the beach!!!!
I am trying to get the Veetle link going for Costa's game and it isn't working. Not much is working for me today
That's the half at COM. The replay shows that what happened there was that Clichy cleared the ball straight into Silvestre's body and Ireland whose run had taken him off-side, was gifted the loose ball that last touched a defender. Composed finish, yes, but very unlucky for us because other than Benjani's ridiculous headed moon-shot attempt, Citeh's forwads have been nothing special.
Arsenal's only attacking threat has been through Nasri's free kicks. RVP was mugged straight out of the gae by a Citeh midfielder, and then clobbered again by Richard Dunne at the 25th minute mark. That's the last sight of him. Bendtner has been too slow, and been pushed out of a post-up position by the stronger Richards. When he's found space, it's been 30 yards from goal and he's been laying off balls to either flank that then get passed around and eventually covered up.
I won't concede this at the half but Citeh's defense looks comfortable enough with what we're throwing at them now, and they're a goal ahead. Some kind of gut check effort required now from the Arse.
Teams are about to get started again at The Bridge.
COME ON TOON
and at CoM stadium
I really don't like the look of Arsenal's shirt from behind. It looks all red
I'm back!
Did you get your feet rid of all the sand!!!!
And we're off again. No changes.
Bendtner late to meet that cross with his head though he's claiming he was impeded by the plodding Dunne. Corner comes to nowt. RVP really looking snake-bit now.
The Arse on the front foot at the beginning of the half
Free kick chance for Chelsea
LEEDS TAKE THE LEAD!! Delph
Chance for The Arse too
Deco hits the wall
RVP goes wide
Arsenal win a free in a dangerous area after RVP chopped down by Richards who must be living on borrowed time for a yellow. Nasri and RVP lurking around the ball
What is up with Charlton. They are losing 4-1 at home!
Reading are losing at home to Sotton
What scoring threat is on the bench for Arsenal?
...AND RVP HITS THE POST. So unlucky, as Hart was never ever getting that. Damn. That really would have helped.
YESSS! Fab fab Fabian Delph!
I didn't see the RVP shot hit the post. It was closer than I thought
Charlton are now five one down
Hull have tied it up at Fratton Park
Chelsea get the ball in the net but Cole is offside
The commentators have no idea what they are talking about. Cole was offside when Malouda's shot was taken. It wasn't for the through ball
GOAL...no, Joe Cole is ruled offside. Still 0-0 at Stamford Bridge. Good news for UWS and the Gooner.
Finally, they see it the way I do!
Gordon Bennett, Robinho has scored #2 for Citeh
Cool finish, lobbed over Almunnia's head
Who is Charlton's manager?
Charlton 2 Shef. Utd 5
We're still mired in sixth despite jumping to 32 points but a goal here or there would allow us to jump some places. The league leaders are on 34 points so it's fairly congested at the top of Div. 1.
Of course, Citeh were two nil up to Costa earlier and lost 3-2
Isn't it Ian Dowie?
For subs, I bet we're down to Jay Simpson. I'd be hugely surprised to see Vela on the bench because he was in mid-week action against El Salvador when he was dismissed by one of the most horrible forward's challenges you're likely to see. He was chasing a defender sheparding the ball out of touch and just chopped him down.
Robinho was completely offside there, but damn he can finish. That's 2-0 Citeh and I believe that's too much to come back from in the form we're in now.
Yes, we've got the attacking talent, but there are such gaping holes of quality in Denilson, Diaby, Song, and at the back in Silvestre. Looks like Ramsey to enter and I bet it's for Diaby.
Reading get a goal back against Sotton
The commentators are now agreeing with me about the Cole goal. I saw it right away
Where is Adebayor?
Bendtner should have scored there
Scunthorpe and Leicester still drawing 1-1. That scoreline suits me just fine.
Cheslea go close again, they appeal for it going over the line but it didn't
Well, more inexplicable stuff from Wenger. Off trots Hoyte for Ramsey. No idea what that's going to look like.
Bendtner now adds insult to injury by trying to beat Hart by finding the ball-sized hole in his torso rather than place the ball either side of him. Honestly, the Dane's not helping himself here.
MK Dons are two up and in first
Young Fergie's lot have been pegged back. Good score for your lot too
Didn't Adebayor go off early in the match last weekend? And then Theo got nobbled late on. Arsenal could use some cover up front - Michael Owen is apparently available?
Young Fergie?
I REALLY REALLY REALLY DON'T WANT TO SEE CHELSEA AND COSTA SCORE LATE WINNNERS!!!
LEEDS SCORE A THIRD.
Becchio
Pompey take the lead again
Adebayor is probably on the bench. He's about 60% fit after the ankle injury. He came on after Villa scored their second and I did not like the look of his running at all. I wouldn't risk him today in what is now a pretty lost cause.
Simpson, Vela if he's there, see what happens. Bendtner should be made to pull the bus home after this cart-animal display.
I hear that Bendtner's not exactly a fan favorite at the Emirates at the moment. A lot of Billy Big Boots behavior without the product to back it up, eh?
SAF's son. Peterbrough's manager
Peterbrough go back into the lead
In the net again for Citeh but offside on Robinho
3-1 Becchio! That'll do nicely!
Wow, I had no idea. Is he a fan of the Pick 'n Mix too?
I don't think this is a lost cause. Score a goal soon and you are right back in it
Whatever shake up that the Ramsey sub was supposed to give us has resulted in inviting Citeh pressure into our half now. Previously they were reliant on the break. Now they have possession and speed up front.
Robinho scores again, but was flagged for off-side. The ball spilled by Almunia into the net it has to be notcied. We're a train-wreck now.
We've leapfrogged Peterboro for the time being into fifth. Goal difference perhaps?
I am not sure Darren Fergie is a pix and mix fan but it looks like he is following his dad well. He got them promoted last season and could do the same again.
I guess he will be the next United manager!
It's true - Richard Dunne's always for at least one o.g.
Aha! Vela for Diaby. No need for astute observation needed to make that move.
Did you know that Richard Dunne is already tied for most Premiership own goals in one season - and it's only November! Who's he tied with?
Dunno
I'm still pegging Martin O'Neill for the next ManYoo manager.
Frank Sinclair, who used to like to bang them in his own net for Chelski a few season's back. You can dial them up on YouTube. There are some scorchers. Both of them are currently on three.
The other thing I've noticed is that RVP does nothing to try to lose a defender. There's Dunne hanging on him like a tattoo all ninety minutes. More inventive use of space required. More running too.
Be scared.. Histon FOUR Oxford 1
Oooh, I was going to guess Titus.
A Leyton Orient goal wouldn't go amiss right about now.
Frank Sinclair.. he scored a couple for Cheslki but wasn't his famous own goal from about the half way line
Titus doesn't score the goal, he just sets up the other team.
Scramble in the Arse box... they lucked out there
I'm seeing a clip over and over showing Denilson falling over in the box. It's not a penalty and it's a clear no penalty. Get on with it!!!
Newcastle are desperately hanging on for dear life here.
Sinclair's og was for Leicester
Come on Newcastle and Fulham.... keep it up
You're right, Davey. I remember one brilliant Titus swipe at the ball that just looped up and fell in Dennis Bergkamp's lap for an easy tap in. It was the sort of thing that John Dorr used to do in AYA footie.
Boro get a goal back against Bolton
Great. Elano is introduced for Vassel, who I didn't realize was on the pitch. You know who else is out there? SWP. This is the Benjani-Robinho-Ireland show. Citeh carried Vassell, are carrying SWP, and they are still 2-0 up.
Benjani doing GKW, somehow misses an opportunity to blow out the candle on this.
But Bolton get one right back
Robinho rounds the keeper but it is cleared
He is now faking to stop his embarrassment.
I beg to differ on the Titus issue.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6Drrc1--vY
Leicester have taken the lead at Scunthorpe
Right now I'm losing oodles of points in the Prediction league. I'm wrong on all six matches!
Not good for us. We need a Scunthorpe goal.
Great video of Titus... but I think my point was made. The first one was an OG the rest were all just hopeless
He was supposed to be a can't miss star as a youngster for Ipswich
Come on, under ten minutes to hold at Anfield and Bridge
Stoke take the lead against WBA. So much for the Baggies being the class of the Championship
This is what Newcastle did to my lot at OT
Lamps wastes a free kick.. HOLD ON!
That is a corking Titus compilation but it has to be said that a lot of those were hospital backpasses rather than o.g.s
Predicitons
Stoke have given you a perfect result
That Stoke goal could gain me thirty points and would help a bit.
MK Dons are three up! They don't miss Ince
But I really need a quick Anelka hat-trick. Come on, Nic!
RVP puts it in the net but it is called back. I missed it.
What did he do?
RVP denied a cheeky goal by clueless refereeing.
Hull have tied it up with Pompey
Another perfect score
RVP has had his run ins with keepers lately
That reminded me of the George Best Gordon Banks 'goal'
3 minutes of added time in London
Bad miss from Bollocks there.
Penalty to Citeh.. I missed it again
Two minutes to go.
Corner to Cheslki
I feel a Chelski goal coming...
Hart tosses it in the air right next to RVP who touches it away and volleys it in. A goal.
Then we concede a pen and Sturredge scores.
This is getting so bad I may not recover today. God help the dog, Melanie, and Eric.
Comes to nothing... just a minute to go
Citeh scored the pen.
Throw in to the Toon in Chelsea' s end. COME ON
Same at Anfield too please
Leeds score a fourth
YES, NEWCASTLE GET THE DRAW
COME ON FULHAM!!!
4-1! Beckford with his second of the day.
And the ref blows for full-time. A terrific pounding of Hartlepool. Stellings will need the antidepressants tonight.
Bolton beat Boro. All of our choice to go down win again
Over at CoM
Steve, do want a United win to stay in fourth
Bloody hell, that was abject. I'm off.
Full-time at Stamford Bridge. A great result for your lot.
Unfortunately, Arsenal have conceded a penalty. Sorry, Gooner!
Come on Fulham!!
YES, nil nil!!!
Great results so far. Now we need to win at Villa Park and we will be within 5 with a game in hand
I'm off to take a shower before the United match.
Take care Steve
I am off soon. I will be following United but I have to give up the internet for a while for the boys' XBOX
I will be back in a while.
Kids are XBOXing
I'm back - your prediction for this one?
Looks like Carlito is getting another game with the absence of Berbatov.
Nigel Reo Coker playing at right back? Ronaldo will be licking his chops at that thought.
And we're off...!
The Villans seem to be really getting stuck in with the United stars.
Great hit by Ronaldo. The first real chance for United. Good save by Brad.
Good effort from Reo Coker getting forward. VDS holds well.
Dangerous free kick chance here for Ronaldo....
Straight into the wall this time.
Now a free kick for Villa...
Milner hits one that dribbles wide.
Roon is playing far too deep for my taste. He hasn't been in the match. Half an hour in and there hasn't been a sniff of a goal for either side.
Ronaldo hits another free kick and it bobbles wide. He hasn't got his shooting boots on today for some reason.
Great tackle by Ashley Young to deny Park a goal-scoring opportunity.
Roon laid one on a plate for Park who just couldn't stretch to meet it. United are making a late bid to end the half one up.
Giggs knocks in a free kick and Vidic just can't steer his header on target.
Half-time: 0-0 Bit of a snoozefest.
Ronaldo hits yet another free kick into the wall. Not his day.
Rooney misses a complete sitter.
Half an hour left of this one.
What a strange day this is. First and second drew, third lost and fourth drawing as well.
Good stuff between Tevez and Ron but it didn't come of anything.
Tevez is coming off and he's not best pleased, shaking his head and ripping his headband off with disgust. Nani on for him.
Looks like big John Carew might be thrown into the fray by Martin O'Neill.
John Gregory makes a crack that Ron is "down there crying like a baby." Nice one, John.
Fifteen minutes left...
Here comes Carew. M.O. is looking for the win here.
The game is opening up a bit here.
And Anderson coming on, showing that SAF is satisfied with a draw.
Ronaldo coming off limping a bit gingerly. Villa fans are jeering him the whole way.
It looked like Ronaldo was having a go at the Villa fans there on his way down the tunnel taunting them by pointing out that he's number one. What a tosser!
Barry wastes a free kick opportunity by hitting it too shallow and it's cleared out easily.
Oh, great run from Milner, but when he cut it back, Vidic just knocked it out of reach of Carew.
Coming down to just stoppage time left.
Ooh, another tantalizing ball in from Milner bounces across the United box and out.
When was the last time that the top five clubs in the Premiership failed to score on a Saturday. Extraordinary!
Full-time: 0-0. I am officially goal starved.
Thoroughly unimpressed by United' performance.
The passes was hopeless and so was the performance. I am not going to concede the title but this was a big chance to get back into it. Of course, a point away to Villa is better than a point at home to Newcastle and Fulham but I am not a happy chappy.
