Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

This is England

Okay, lads, I know I'm two years late with this, but if any of you haven't seen This is England, do yourself a favor and Netflix it soon. It's a moving work of cinema -- at times difficult to watch, and others, warm and inviting. The writer/director is a supporter of Notts County. Shouldn't Leeds be playing them soon, Gator-B?

Good shout, Trev. I thoroughly enjoyed. And speaking of Netflix, if you haven't seen "The Visitor" yet, stick that one on the list too.

As for Notts County, we'll have to get relegated again in order to have the honor of playing them in the league. Thanks but no thanks.

We saw this recently and really enjoyed it, i felt it was a little broad at points but then condensing this history in 1 hr 45 is kind of difficult.

If none of you have seen it I think you'd enjoy "Things to do Before You're 30" with Dougray Scott in it and it centers on a soccer team of 20 somethings getting set to disband - I really enjoyed this.
