Sam's Army did the hard work with a 0-1 win in Guatemala last August to kick off what has been a spotless qualifying campaign to date. Now they host Guatemala in Colorado knowing that they've already qualified for the final round of qualifying but can do some damage to Guatemala and help out the T&T boys.Join me for some chat during the match if you're watching.

A new look U.S. side with the likes of Kenny Cooper getting a chance to shine in a match that they should easily win.
And we're off with the first half with the U.S. in home white and Guatemala in navy blue.
I've love to see Jozy get a hatful against these mugs tonight.
Bradley nearly sprung Kenny Cooper there. Just offside.
Freddy Adu's corner nearly reaches Kljestan.
All the momentum is going in the U.S. direction. Guatemala may be desperate for a win tonight but they're not showing it so far.
Jozy gets a little unselfish after getting free on the left sliding it across to be cleared out by Guatemala.
Nice to see Michael Parkhurst getting a run out. He's pure class.

Oh, what robbery. Jonathan Thorington is felled in the box and the ref points toward a goal kick. Incredible. Harkesy is as gobsmacked as I am. I'm seen some crazy decisions in CONCACAF but that takes the lot.
The U.S. boys are definitely taking a beating tonight and the ref is hardly helping.
While it's still 0-0 Guatemala will still think they've got a chance. One goal should take away some of their ambition.
Oh, another golden chance. Cooper rises to meet a great ball in from Kljestan. His massive header strikes the bar and comes out.

Coming up on half-time, it's disappointing that the U.S. are still at 0-0. You'd really like to see them run over these mugs.

GOAL! The double act of Altidore and Cooper combines with big Kenny latching onto a ball at the backpost. And that should finish off Guatemala.

I'm not sure Cooper and Altidore work up front together. They're both a bit static. I'd choose Jozy over Kenny and have a nippier forward alongside him.
Should have been a red card there for the Guatemala defender who held back Jozy in a goalscoring opportunity.

And that goal means Guatemala done and dusted. Just as well - they're a rubbish side. Good riddance!
Sunderland's Kenwynne Jones has scored against Cuba to add further misery for the Guatemalans. They'll join the US in the next round for sure now.
Honduras have taken a shock lead against Mexico. It's still possible for Jamaica and Honduras to go through above Mexico knocking the Tri out. I can't remember the last time Mexico weren't in the World Cup, can any of you?

Pablo Mastroenni picks up a yellow card there, which will rule him out of the first qualifier in the final round. That's the only low mark tonight, but surely Ricardo Clark can play that role.
Parkhurst has been rock solid tonight. He's in my starting eleven, no doubt.
The match is winding down here to an inevitable win for the US.
