Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I'm going to have to send Bob a carrier pigeon headed to Belize to inform him of his side's elimination.

Obviously the tie of the round is the Man United Liverpool one, but this round is notable because that's the only all-Prem matchup at this point.

A few things come to mind. Blackburn vs QPR is a battle of the managers who would manage Bob's Villains XI. Sven will be reunited against the Citeh team that he managed for one season. I wonder if he will be offering any crisps. If Luton win their replay vs Charlton then they will travel to the Lane in a battle of former Pleat teams. Finally, you did not want us to face FC United. Instead, Pompey may be facing them. I am thinking that you would want Brighton to win the replay in Bury so that Pompey can host a South Coast Derby. Finally, there are the two matches that Steve mentioned. Bob and Steve have six weeks to get ready for their teams to battle. It should be an exciting third round, but there is plenty of football before those matches.

That was a cracking draw, wasn't it? As the Gooner hinted, I'm going to miss out as I'll be jetting off to Belize that day. That means I'll likely be missing out on Leeds United's participation in the FA Cup this season. Crikey - ManYoo and Spurs last year and Arsenal this season - the FA could throw us a bone now and again!

Three Things
First, keep your mind out of the gutter BD!!!
Second, why would you leave the frozen tundra of Fredonia in January?
Third, I am pleased the Cup Ties are being played a weekend AFTER New Year's so we should have a slate of games for Boxing Day and New Year's! Of course, Bob will be in England then too!
