We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Premiership Plus Predictions Game - Week 9 Update

Before we get into the hurly burly of the Carling Cup 4th Round tomorrow, it's time to have a quick check on our PPP game. Things have shifted ever so slightly in terms of the table, with Spurs up into the CL slots and Soton dropping into the relegation zone again. However, with Dembe Ba still on top of the GBB stakes, AZ Kicker still rules the roost. As for tomorrow, all but Gooner and MUR are still in the Carling Cup. Here are the current standings:

1. AZ Kicker - 28 points
2. Matthew - 21 pts
3. Someone Said - 17 pts
4. Blue Devil - 14 pts
5. Thomas - 13 pts
- West Ham Rising - 13 pts
7. ManUtd Rules - 11 pts
8. The Red Devil FCK1 - 10 pts
9. Chelskilad - 9 pts
10. Gooner71 - 6 pts
- United We Stand - 6 pts
12. Simon Burke - 4pts.

I know I'm well out of first place , in a mid table position, but United will go top of the pops and Demba Ba will hit a scoring slump, being replaced by RVP as GBB. Let's see what happens in the PPP standings once that occurs.
