Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Excellent - I've got a fresh link up for the match this afternoon here:
http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/186454/3/watch-brighton-and-ha-vs-crystal-palace.html
The team news out of the south coast:
Brighton - Kusz, Calderon, Greer, Upson, Bridge, Bridcutt, Lopez, Hammond, Buckley, Ulloa, Orlandi.
Subs - Brezovan, El-Abd, Crofts, Barnes, Dicker, Painter, LuaLua.
Palace - Speroni, Ward, Delaney, Gabbidon, Moxey, Dikgacoi, Garvan, Jedinak, Zaha, Williams, Wilbraham.
Subs - Price, Richards, Bolasie, Phillips, O'Keefe, Ramage, Moritz.
We're away in this second leg then.
The Amex Stadium is rocking and rolling tonight. None of that Old Trafford prawn sandwich munching on display today.
Wilbraham with a half-chance there, just directed it past the post.
Celebrity Brighton fan Des Lynam is on hand today.
Cagey opening ten minutes here in Brighton. This could easily go long.
A real howler by future United man Zaha but Orlandi bailed him out of trouble.
Brighton are starting to get back into this one.
Oh - Lopez has a curler deflected over the bar for a corner. Could have easily flown in past Speroni.
Bridge rifles one just wide of the mark. Sorry, that was Hammond in the end, while Bridge provided the decoy run.
Wilbraham was appealing for a penalty as Upson seemed to handle that corner.
Will Buckley with a great run down the right but his final ball was poor. Brighton are having a tough time adjusting to not having Murray as a target man.
Owen Garvin clips his own heels but still goes down looking for a foul. Credit Clattenberg for seeing that and carding him for simulation.
Oh - Zaha got a great cross in there and it created some real havoc in the Brighton area. Cleared out by Upson.
Coming down to the last few minutes of the first half here - still goal-less.
Into stoppage time now....
Calderon is in trouble with Clattenberg now after upending Zaha. Yellow card.
Half-time: This one is still deadlocked at 0-0. Back in a tick after making some copies.
As we start this second half, it's started to rain at the Amex. I'm hoping that they can sort this one out soon, as I have to run off to my last class at 4:30.
Oh - agony for Palace supporters as Williams rolls a one-on-one chance against Kucz past the post.
Alan Mullery, who managed both of these sides, is up in the box seats tonight.
We've hit the hour mark - still goal-less. That Williams miss is probably the best chance either side has had.
Brazilian midfielder Moritz is on for hard tackling Garvan. And the winger Bolasie is also on.
Ashley Barnes being thrown on in response to that.
Dikagcio picks up a yellow for a slider. Orlandi off for Barnes now.
Oh - Barnes is right into the action and nearly nicks one in. Great save from Speroni!
This one's coming to a nice boil now - Moxey off the line!
Oh - Upson does well to nod behind there. The cross was fizzed over by Moxey.
Twenty minutes left now - just about time for me to leave for my class.
GOAL! There it is - and it's that man Zaha who's bound for United next year!
Another great cross over - this time by Bolasie - and Saha beats Wayne Bridge to the punch and nods home a priceless goal for Palace!
0-1!
Palace are now less than 20 minutes away from Wemberley and a playoff final against Watford.
Good afternoon, Bob. I see our new signing has scored a vital for Palace. What is your opinion of him based on your scouting report?
GOAL!!!! OUR NEW SIGNING ZAHA HAS A BRACE AS PALACE LEAD 0-2 AND HAVE ALL BUT BOOKED A WEMBERLEY DATE WITH UW IN A FORTNIGHT
Anyone who thinks Fergie has questionable judgement just needs to look at what his last signing has done this evening
Hiya, MUR - great to have you on board for the remaining moments. Looks like Palace v. Watford in the Playoff Final now.
I'm off to join my class.
Palace will play UW at Wemberley in a fortnight as they win 0-2 at the AMEX and 2-0 on agg thanks to a brace from Fergie's last signing. SAF even has an influence on Championship Promotion.
CHEERS!
Cheers Bob. Great to have chatted, albeit rather briefly.
