Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I've got a good link up through First Row for this afternoon's Gillette Soccer Special: http://firstrowus1.eu/watch/203718/1/watch-gillette-soccer-special-.html
The news out of Blighty today is that Andros Townsend and Ross Barkley have got their first England call-ups for the upcoming qualifiers. Raheem Sterling and UWS favorite Rickie Lambert are also in the squad. Here's the squad in full:
Goalkeepers: Forster (Celtic), Hart (Man City), Ruddy (Norwich).
Defenders: Baines (Everton), Cahill (Chelsea), Cole (Chelsea), Jagielka (Everton), Johnson (Liverpool), Jones (Man Utd), Smalling (Man Utd), Walker (Tottenham).
Midfielders: Barkley (Everton), Carrick (Man Utd), Cleverley (Man Utd), Gerrard (Liverpool), Lampard (Chelsea), Milner (Man City), Sterling (Liverpool), Townsend (Tottenham), Walcott (Arsenal), Wilshere (Arsenal).
Forwards: Defoe (Tottenham), Lambert (Southampton), Rooney (Man Utd), Sturridge (Liverpool), Welbeck (Man Utd), Young (Man Utd).
I have to say that beyond this starting XI, the squad looks rather thin and ordinary:
Hart, Walker, Cahill, Jags, Baines, Carrick, Wilshere, Walcott, Gerrard, Rooney, Welbeck.

Of course the Champions League second leg playoffs are on tonight as well. Arsenal are just about through after their 0-3 mauling in Turkey last week.
I've got that Arsenal match on the telly on Fox Sports 1.
Posh are 1-0 up over Reading - first goal of the night.
Liverpool have a strong side out, as they should. And Raheem Sterling has put them in the lead. Pool will be a good shout for this pot if they keep up this policy.
Burnley are 1-0 up over PNE. Lot of goals flying in early doors in the League Cup tonight.
Sunderland are behind early doors to the Fake Dons.
At the Keepmoat, Leeds have had the brighter start and Ross has missed a couple of good chances.
Lee Tomlin has added a second goal for Posh against reading. 2-0 there.
Chris Martin on loan from Norwich has put Derby in front against Brentford.
Carlisle have scored against the run of play against Championship favorites Leicester.
Liverpool are 2-0 up at Anfield now - Sterling again.
Sorry - that was Daniel Sturridge again. His third of the season in three matches. Bang in form.
Aaron Ramsey has scored for Arsenal and that should just about do it. Roll on the Group Stage draw now.
Norwich are 2-0 up over Bury.
"Leeds are starting to get on top, according to Ian Dowie.
Soton are 0-1 up Barnsley now - Davis with the goal.
Soton are 0-1 up Barnsley now - Davis with the goal.
Charlton are 1-0 up now in the all-Championship clash with Hudders.
Burnley are 2-0 up over Preston now - Danny Ings with the gaol there.
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
Ross has put us 0-1 up in the Yorkshire Derby!
Over in the office now for the second half and I notice to my irritation that bloody Billy Paynter has equalized for Donny. Grrrrr!
Come on, you Whites!
Sunderland were 2-0 down with 10 minutes to go but have won 3-2 at home to MK Dons
