It's back to the usual Sunday schedule with two Premier League Football matches. It starts with QPR vs Liverpool followed by Stoke vs Swansea.

They're off from Loftus Road.
CHarlie Austin with as shot in Row M after Bobby Zamora chested down a long ball.
Caulker headed down a long free kick , but Mignolet was on to it.
Liverpool will need to adjust as they have been caught out by two long balls.
Islas wins a corner off of Jose Enrique.
Disgraceful corner from Sandro. Taken short and passed straight to a Liverpool player. What was he thinking?
QPR dominating early doors , but not testing Mignolet.
QPR nearly score Charlie Austin dribbles past two players , the last being SKrtel. Mignolet rushes out to block with his foot then Austin, off balance, the rebound into the side netting.
Will QPR rue that missed chance . Casual defending from Liverpool as Austin got lucky with ricochets off of Glen Johnson and Skrtel before that timely block from Mignolet.
Useless by Balo as Caulker too easily dispossessed him. Superb through ball from Sterling.
Balo has a shot deflected straight to Alex McCarthy, starting his first match of the season. Bob should remember him.
Rob Green is out due to tonsillitis.
OH! QPR nearly took the lead . Bobby Zamora got free down the right and his pass went to Leroy Fer, who shot off the top of the bar from eight yards out, completely unmarked.
It all started with a long clearance from McCarthy . Isla scooped a pass down the right to Zamora , who found Fer, who should have scored.
OH!!! A POOR CLEARANCE FROM SKRTEL OFF A FREE KICK GOES TO zAMORA . hIS CROSS WAS HEADED ON TO THE BAR BY FER AS MIGNOLET MISSED THE CROSS. THE REBOUND FROM AUSTIN WAS CLEARED OFF THE LINE BY SKRTEL.
How are QPR not in the lead? Leroy Fer has twice had efforts come off the bar. Liverpool are riding their luck.
Sandro has a long range effort blocked by Skrtel. a great atmosphere at Loftus Road.

Sandro wins a free kick off of Emre Can just outside the Liverpool box.
Zamora shoots the free kick several feet over . Liverpool let off the hook yet again.
Just wide by Stevie G off a clever back heel from Balo . He was triple teamed , but still got the shot off.
That's the problem for QPR. As poor as Liverpool have been , they could have been in the lead at the half. A minute of stoppage time.
A poor effort is dragged wide by Balo . Phil Dowd booked Richard Dunne , who fouled Sterling on a Liverpool break, but had wisely played the advantage,
It's 0-0 at the half. QPR dominated , but squandered some really good chances, then Liverpool took the lead just before the break.

Mignolet did well to push an effort from Sandro around the post after a cross from Matty Phillips was not properly cleared.. QPR keep possession off the corner then Pool break through Sterling and Henderson blasts over off his through ball.
I'm back with brekkies for the second half. Brendan Rogers looking a bit pensive on the bench. Things are not going right for him.

Karl Henry bundles Henderson over there - it just seems as if QPR want it more than Pool today.
Why did Phil Dowd stop play? It's not a head injury. Henderson holds his shoulder , but he got straight back up. It was a fair challenge.

OH! Balo copies QPR by missing a sitter. Sterling put through Lallana and his shot was superbly saved by McCarthy, Balo shot the rebound well over . Even Bob and I could have scored from that chance.
I reckon that Sparky could have shinned that one in.
A double change from Brendan. Coutinho on for Lallana and Joe Allen on for Can Not. Why bring on Joe Allen if you need goals.

Quick thinking by Sterling in the free kick to Johnson who squared it and, well, no Liverpool striker was going to score, were they?

Trore fouls Sterling just outside the box and Liverpool take the lead against the run of play. Sterling took a quick free kick to Glen Johnson and his pass was diverted into his own net by Richard Dunne. Good pressure by Balo.
I think Balo pressured Dunne into that OG.

The free kick is lofted in , headed away by Loveren, and easily cleared.

Poor defending from Pool . A cross from Vargas was headed on by an unmarked Austin then thrashed in from close range by an unmarked Vargas. It all stemmed from Coutinho giving away an unnecessary free kick.
Oh - almost a carbon copy of the move for the goal there but Skrtel cleared away.
Skrtel with a timely clearance to prevent a late winner. They have a corner.,

Great break there through Sterling to Gerrard and Coutinho jinked inside and scored. Bit of a deflection on the shot as well.

It appeared that the corner from Fer went in for an unfortunate OG off of Joe Allen despite the celebrations from Vargas. Vargas is credited with the goal/.
GOAL !!! IT THINK POOL WIN IT 2-3. IT WAS A BREAK OFF A QPR FREE KICK HEADED AWAY . STEVIE G FOUND STERLING WHOSE PASS DIVERTED IN FOR AN OG OFF OF CAULKER.

Sterling again is the architect, but it's Stephen Caulker who prods it home. Harry will be pissed!!
What a madcap finish there at Loftus Road.
It finishes 2-3 to Pool as they did not have enough time to blow the lead.
Will this be Harry's last match in charge? There was talk of Tim Sherwood replacing him if QPR lost today.
QPR still stuck on the bottom after all of that drama. A point might have pulled them above Burnley and a win would have put them level with Newcastle.
Liverpool meanwhile rise to 5th ahead of United's match with the Baggies tomorrow.

Probably so, mate - but both teams to their credit went for the win.

Oh - Siggy was in there from Routledge but he took a heavy touch around Begovic and the chance was gone.
A chance for the Swans to take the lead . Routledge did well to control a long diagonal pass. he superbly played through siggy, who rounded Begovic, but shot wide from a very acute angle,
OH !! Ki was through and his shot was blocked by Begovic after being superbly played through . Nice one touch passing from Swans. It was Ki to Boni then a back heel from Siggy to Ki.
Stoke then went straight up the other end and a long range effort from Charlie Adam was not too far off.
Charlie Adam tried a chip from fifty yards out, but it was well over.

Neil Taylor catches Stephen Ireland and the home fans are none too pleased. I didn't think it was too severe.

Stoke would have had a great chance , but for a poor pass from Stephen Ireland. a few years ago he was spot on in those situations.
Oh - Ireland should have had a go there. I don't think the Stephen Ireland who was at Citeh would have let that chance go.
I love to see the strength of Siggy when he's on the ball. He's really hard to shrug off.
Oh - Diouf nearly bundled his way through to the Swansea goal.

PENALTY AND A BOOKING FOR SHAWCROSS. Definitely a penalty as Shawcross did a textbook rugby tackle on Bony. More refs need to call those.
What was that? The referee has given Swansea a penalty! And Shawcross a yellow!
On the replay - I can't fault the ref. That's the sort of thing that happens at every corner and it's high time that refs punished it. A clear foul there.

Stoke fans are furious, but it was the correct decision. Kudos to the ref for making a decision that needs to be made far more frequently. Shawcross has got away with those over the years and needs to put a stop to this. Perhaps he can't properly defend on set pieces and may be compensating.
Swansea up into the Champions League slots again - that's going to cause havoc in our PPP game.
That should have been another penalty as Pieters took a cheap shot on Boni. Stoke fans are livid , but they should be upset at their back four.

PENALTY STOKE AS IT WAS A DEFINITE TRIP BY ANGLE RANGLE ON VICTOR MOSES . A DESERVED BOOKING FOR RANGEL.
That looked rather soft to me - Moses went down really easily and perhaps that was a make-up call in Michael Oliver's eyes.

Bardsley picks up a late, late yellow as the half winds down. A lot of passion and commitment in this one but not a lot of quality beyond the play of Siggy for Swansea and Moses for Stoke.

I should be - I'm looking at my schedule right now.
This goal was typical of the new Stoke.Cameron did well to win the ball of Boni in midfield . He passed to Nzonzi , who passed to Crouch , who passed to Adam , who found Assaidi, who crossed for Walters. Several Liverpool old boys involved with the goal.
I'm looking at mine too. The best bets are the second half of the United match and the second half on Wednesday.
Walters' header fires Stoke up to 10th now and well out of the trouble they were in this morning.
Swansea slump down to 9th. What a difference a couple of goals make. Now it's Chelski, Citeh, Soton and West Ham in the CL spots. Liverpool and United in the EL spots.
Tomorrow looks okay for the first half, maybe part of Tuesday's CL matches. Wednesday is my best day.
We're away to Wolves on Tuesday.
Bardsley is down . If he can't continue then Stoke will be a man down the remainder of the match since they have made all three substitutions.
Inside the last ten minutes now - can Stoke hang on for an improbable win?
