We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The Path to Paris Continues

It's another day of Euro 2016 qualifiers. The highlights should be the Jocks vs the Georgians at noon on FS2. You can also watch the Republic of  Ireland vs Gibraltar on ESPN3.com. In the 2:45 kickoffs, Finland vs Greece is on FS2 and the highlight must be Poland vs Germany on ESPN3. com. It should be exciting.

Bob will be interested to note that the Argies vs Brazis was televised earlier this morning on BEIN. The match was played in Beijing and it was 2-0 to the Brazis. Diego Tardelli with both goals.

Bob, you may be interested to know that Gibraltar play their home matches in Algarve, Portugal. Their national stadium does not meet FIFA standards , but they are in the process of having a stadium constructed that does.
