We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Good afternoon, Bob. Thanks for posting the thread. I should be around about a half hour into the match

About five minutes until halftime and still 1-0 to the Baggies. The announcer said that Sess scored with a cracking strike.

Analysis of the goal from Gary Neville and Caradonna. Great job by Caradonna. He was correct that Luke Shaw did horribly off a long clearance from Bo Myhill. He let Andre Wisdom and Wise win the ball too easily then got too easily down the right . He ran down the right and his pass was put away by Sess with a finish in the upper 90 from about 25 yards out. The goal was scored in the eighth. Caradonna correctly stated that Di Maria lost Sess on the run.
The second half is underway . Ander Herrera has been replaced by the Hair Bear.
Di Maria appeared top be fouled near the corner flag , but a corner is given. Shouts for hand ball.
YESSSS !!!! HAIR BEAR TIES IT UP TWO AND A HALF MINUTES INTO THE SECOND HALF . HE CONTROLLED A PASS FROM SHAW OFF HIS CHEST , WENT PAST LESCOTT ,THEN SCORED WITH A ROCKET INTO THE ROOF OF THE NET.
Talk about instant impact off the bench! A great substitution by LVG.
