Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Footie Trivia Question of the Week!

While I'm at it, here's a brain tickler from 606 to start your workweeks:

1. He made 13 appearances for Cardiff City.

2. In April 2009, he was given a $750 fine from Major League Soccer for comments about the poor standard of officiating in the league.

3. In his first spell for his current side, had a 100% win record.

Who is he?

I think it's John Carver. Is that correct? I think he was once a caretaker manager at ER.

Spot on, MUR - it is professional Northerner John Carver. He has indeed had a storied and varied career hop, skipping and jumping around the different leagues and divisions both as a player and manager. Is it taxi time for Carver at the SJP?

Btw, MUR. Since you're in a trivia mood, give the MLS question that I posted on UWS' MLS thread below a go, won't you?
