As for Leeds, we've had a predictable transfer window, selling off our most prized possession - Sam Byram - to West Ham and bringing in a few mercenaries on loan from Championship clubs.
Some of the big moves this January:
Benik Afobe from Wolves to Bournemouth for £9 million
Andros Townsend from Spurs to Newcastle for £12 million
Charlie Austin from QPR to Soton for £4million.
Citeh have made it official today that Pep Guardiola will be taking over the helm this summer.
Big news in the Championship - Jordan Rhodes seems headed toward Middlesboro. I'd love to see him get a chance to prove himself in the Premiership next season.
That would be great because I think he can given the right service.
Some news involving the Manc clubs. First, it''s official that Manny P is resigning as Citeh manager on June 30th. We knew about that ,but now it's official. Next, United are rumored to be signing two new players : Renato Sanches, and 18 year old middie from Benfica, who is supposed to be the best young player around sense a certain Martial artist was signed , and Ahmed Musa, a 23 year old Nigerian striker from CSKA Moscow, who is captain of the Nigerian national team
Stoke City are set to sign Gianelli Imbula from Porto while the Toon are bidding 25 million quid for Berahino. COR! That would be a successful, January for the Toon after signing Shelvey from the Swans.
We've done the business I think we're going to do with Elneny's from Basel. Anything else will likely be a raid on the Nigerian under-16's for make-weight reserve side starlets.
I quite liked the look of Elneny last weekend.
