The DNC - Day 2
Well, it was a rollicking first day at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love has been witness to some booing in the past - and so it was for many of the Day 1 speakers. Even the opening prayer got some raspberries!
Day 2 sees another night of heavy hitters, including cultural figures such as Lena Dunham and former President Bill Clinton.
Join me as usual for some lively banter, won't you?

I will try to join you this evening. However, Elizabeth has control of both tellys this evening. She will be watching the Bachelorette on one and I think she will be recording AGT on the other yelly. If I can find something online then I will join you.
Evening, MUR - no problem at all. We'll probably be watching a bit of the Bachelorette, too. Ask Elizabeth who her favorite is between Jordan and Robbie for the finale.
Elizabeth prefers Robbie, but thins that Jojo will pick Jordan.
I think she's right - Robbie seems more genuine but Jordan is the super stud.
I've been flicking back and forth between the Bachelorette and the convention. You know, I'm no more interested in Meryl Streep, Elizabeth Banks or Lena Dunham's opinion on public policy this week at the DNC than I was in Scott Baio, Kimberlin Brown or the beardy fellow from "Duck Dynasty" last week at the RNC. Let's get serious, folks!
Now it's time for Slick Willie.
Agreed. I'm wondering how Hillary will address the mess created by the former DNC chairperson and the fact that some Dems are upset that Bernie did not win.is Donald licking his chops?
Slick Willie coming out to great applause to the same music that was played on his first date with Monica Lick Winsky.
Os talking about his first date with Hillary or.Monica?
He's a great storyteller. I wonder what will be posted on FB.
Trump certainly is trying to pull Bernie supporters away from Hillary, but I can't see it happening. Most of my Bernie supporting friends are either planning to vote for HRC or for Jill Stein, a few are interested in Libertarian Gary Johnson but none are thinking of voting for Trump. At best he benefits from people staying at home because they're pissed. What do you think?
Interesting that Bill just skimmed over Hillary's youthful involvement in the Republican Party.
Definitely an interesting story. Trump is probably pissed that Bernie's supporters will probably vote for Hillary. I agree that he benefits by low voter turnout. That's why he's complained about Bernie supporting Hillary.
Why is the camera consistently on Chelsea?
I'm calling it a night, David. Cheerio!
Cheers. Enjoy your trip to Bedfordshire.
