We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

We're barely into the first half and already there are plenty of goals for the punters. Wolves are on a tear so far this season and they're already 0-1 up at Hull.
Two goals already at The Den - it's 1-1 between Millwall and Ipswich.
Barnsley has taken the lead over Forest.
Bristol City have taken an early lead at Brentford.
Barnsley have leveled it against Forest.
Boro has taken the lead against Burton - Britt Assombalonga with the goal.
Still 0-0 in the first half at Elland Road. The goals seem to have dried up suddenly. Come on, you Whites!
Half time, lads - I'm off.
