League Cup 2nd Round Action!
Afternoon, chaps! Anyone up for a spot of the Carabao? It's 2nd Round time and my attentions will be fixed firmly on the sacred turf of Elland Road, where my beloved Leeds United will have a touch of the deja vu here as Stoke City arrive today. We thrashed them 0-3 on their patch at the weekend, so there's no reason why we shouldn't do them over again this afternoon.
Unfortunately, none of it will be on the Plus, as they've opted for the Crewe v. Villa match. Join me for all of the up to date League Cup action.

Is this on the Plus?
Bollocks! Just read your intro and it's not.
Afternoon, mate - unfortunately not. I'll be following on the LUFC website text.
As predicted, Bielsa has rested several of the starters including Pablo and Patrick. Costa, Nketiah and Clarke lead the line.
Here's the team news: Casilla, Douglas, Davis, Berardi, Shackleton, Phillips, McCalmont, Bogusz, Clarke, Costa, Nketiah. Subs: Miazek, Forshaw, White, Bamford, Alioski, Harrison, Gotts.
We're underway in the League Cup 2nd Round matches tonight.
Come on, you Whites!
I've just noticed that our old nemesis Sam Vokes is in the starting line-up for Stoke tonight.
Villa have gone 0-1 at Crewe in the televised match. Ezra Konza with a headed effort.
Vokes has a headed effort saved by Kiko. Knock that straight off.
Stoke are all over us early doors. Ince won a corner off Leif Davis and the Vokes headed off target from the corner.
Oh - Douglas is a whisker away from opening the scoring for us with a half volleyed effort.
Danny Batth heads over from a corner for Stoke. Still not liking the pressure that they're exerting on us.
Eddie has won us a tasty looking free kick chance just left of center and about 30 yards out. Not sure who will take this one in the absence of Pablo, our free kick specialist.
Oh - Davis has a header saved by Butland from the resulting free kick.
Rochdale are 1-0 over Carlisle.
Oh - Eddie has hit the post with a scorching effort! Shame.
And now Helder has gone close. We're turning the screw now. Come on!
Good Afternoon, Bob.Back from running errand in the HArlingen heat
Bugger! I've just come back to the computer after working with a student and we're 0-2 down at the break. How on earth!
Afternoon, MUR - thanks for dropping by after the hot errands.

Sad to say that Bury face possible expulsion as a takeover bid failed and none was met by the 5PM GDT deadline. Bolton may follow in a fortnight

For some reason, Bielsa has been booked - over celebrating?
Our tails are up and Harrison has won us a corner. This one needs to go straight in!

Let's hope that Bishop Tutu is warming up.
Carlisle pulls one back at Rochdale and now trails 2-1. Same for Blackburn at Bramall Lane
Agreed - those are always silly yellow cards to give out.
The Bishop is at Plymouth as the Reading Railroad have just made it Desmond at Argyle Sweater.

Tommy Lee scores a consolation goal for Motley Crewe, but they trail Villa 1-5.
Five minutes left and change for us to grab that winner.
As things stand, the match at ER is one of four headed to ET or do they go straight to spot kicks?
Nice one, mate. Are there any other Crue members playing for Crewe this evening?
Now Pablo Quiroga, a member of our coaching staff, has been booked. What is going on?
Oxford score, but trail the Evil Lions 1-2. The Reading Railroad takes a 2-3 lead at Argyle Sweater

That's that then. On to penalties. No extra time in the League Cup of course.
Regulation time has ended at ER. This one is going to be decided by penalty kicks
Absolutely. Why hasn't Gareth Southgate called up Glenn Murray to the full squad. He should do well in the Euro qualifiers vs Bulgaria and Kosovo
Looks like the Canaries are heading out of the League Cup.
In the Efl Trophy Northants defeated the Gunners Academy 4-3 on spot kicks after it finished 1-1 in regulation.
