The Leeds Boys are Back!
The last time my beloved Leeds United took to the field, it was back in mid-March, when we mullered our country cousins Huddersfield. The boys are back in action today, away to Cardiff City. The stakes for this unusual summer run-in to the season are relatively simple: we need 18 points (i.e., 6 wins) from the last 9 matches. Three points today would be an excellent start in that campaign. Come on, you Leeds! #MOT!

Morning, boys! I hope that you've had an enjoyable weekend so far. This is one of the highlights for me.
The Leeds boys are out on the pitch - here's the team news:
Messier, Ayling, White, Coop, Stu Dallas, Kal, Helder, Roberts, Klich, Harrison, Patrick.
So Meslier deputizes again for the suspended Kiko Casilla and Tyler Roberts is in for Pablo Hernandez, who is not quite fit after the restart.
And we're back underway in this season fun of promise for my Leeds boys.
Leeds start the game by passing it around the back as they ease their way back into proceedings. Hoilett earns a free-kick after being caught by White in the face.

Yeah - Kal has been going with hard, flat corners which haven't worked. He needs to rethink the strategy.
Meslier has not been tested, to the point where he could go sit on the Bidet and it wouldn't really make any difference

Well, that was always the fear I had about this run-in. Before the COVID break, we were flying, with five wins on the trot. Cardiff have always been a bogey team, due to the dark Ridsdale connection. So we've lost this one and will have to pick ourselves up for the big match next weekend with Fulham.
In the end, though, it would have been the same if Fulham had won yesterday and we'd won today. Same number of points to get.
