Hiya, folks - I'm just settling in to follow the returns. Hoping for an early landslide but I'm prepared to ride it out late into the evening.
I'm starting the evening with my standard bourbon and ginger. Half an hour until the first state polls close.
Minutes away from the first state poll closures now. It sounds as if Florida is tight as a tick. Having lived down there, I don't fancy it. I'm actually more confident about NC and Georgia.
Trump is the projected winner in Indiana. That was expected.

Heartening news out of Florida that Donald Trump is underperforming in several counties as opposed to 2016.
That's great news . I'm still more hopeful with Michigan and Pennsylvania. Not sure if that's on the right track
Vermont has come through for Biden, of course. So that total is 11 to 3 Trump so far.

Florida not looking good right now. Biden's getting hurt by the Latinx vote in Miami-Dade.
I was thinking they would be a problem for Biden . Not sure what they see in Trump.
Kentucky has been called for Trump - again, that's expected. I would love to see Amy McGrath beat Mitch McConnell.

Much of the East Coast has been added to the Biden column now. Still no battleground states called.
We may not know the results in the battle ground states for several days
Texas is looking really interesting now - I would luv it if it went for Biden tonight.
Boo - Mitch McConnell has defeated Amy McGrath.
I'm seeing some of the results and they look a little discouraging. Am i being premature?
That's not good news, but I think McConnell was ahead in the polls. I think the Senate races in Arizona, Iowa, South Carolina, and Maine will help
Yeah - it's possible. I just hope that Biden can chip off a couple tonight and make it too tough for Trump.

My concern is Virginia . He's trailing there handily. Are we waiting g for the votes in the Alex area?
Yeah - that's always the pattern. Northern Virginia comes in later in the evening. I'm not concerned about VA.
WOW ! MJ Hagar is giving John Cornyn a run for his money. Only 2% behind. I'm hopeful with that race
At the 9 o'clock hour, a number of other states are closing. We still haven't had a single swing state call.

Biden has won Colorado. That was expected. We need Arizona. And Texas would be the cherry on the cake.

I'm getting nervous. Supposedly, Ohio always votes for the winning candidate and Trump is leading there. Not sure how Pennsylvania will turn out. Will Arizona helped Biden or not enough?

Yes, Trump really can't afford to lose anything that he won in 2016, because he's likely to lose something in the Midwest.

Biden is expected to speak shortly. I might stay up for him and then head to Bedfordshire.
