World Cup Trivia Time!

Okay, guys - since you had fun with the last trivia question, so here's another one from the 606 pod:

"There are sixteen players at Qatar 2022 who have appeared in four World Cups. How many can you name? (Bonus points if you can name the four players who are appearing in their fifth World Cup!)"

Good luck!

Well in, Dave - You're spot on with Ronaldo, Messi and Ochoa. They're actually all three making their fifth appearances at a WC. Cor!

So that's three down - who are the others?

Nice volley by Gabi off the inside of the post makes it 5-0. The score does not flatter Spain at all.

Ian Darke is making Spain one of the favorites. There will be stiffer tests than the Ticos. A bit premature

Spain with close to 85% of the possession and out passed the Ticos 806 to 115. Those stats tell the story this match

Ticos out shot a Baker's dozen to nil in case anyone thought the above stats weren't an accurate indication of how the match went

Sorry. The previous three comments were on the wrong thread

Well in, David. You were correct on these:

4. Busquets
4. Neuer
5. Muller
6. Nagatomo
7. Suarez
8. Muslera
9. Lloris
10. Kawashima

The others are incorrect. I was surprised that Pepe wasn't on the list, but perhaps he missed out through injury during one of the tournaments.

Guardado is #11 on your list (also the fourth of the five-timers along with Ronaldo, Messi, and Ochoa). Cavani is #12 on your list. The others have only had three WC appearances.

How about Thiago Silva? He's been around for ages

How about Shaquiri ? He's been around a while.

Shaqiri is spot on; Thiago Silva has only appeared in three.

But I missed Diego Godin. He's another. So you're only missing one. He's another Uruguyan. As you can tell, it's an aging side.
