A Bit of This and A Bit of That
It's a big weekend of domestic footer, with FA Cup Quarterfinals side-by-side with Premier League matches of importance at both ends of the table. Because of our Spring Forward last weekend, we get started a little later than usual at 11am EST with a slate of Premier League matches. This includes Southampton v. Spurs on USA, while I'll be concentrating on Leeds away day at Molineux against Wolves. With nine sides relegation threatened at the moment, there are loads of crucial games. After those matches, we got Chelsea v. Everton in the EPL alongside Man City v. Burnley.
Join me if you're watching, won't you?

I've just put the twins down for their morning nap and am settling in for this crucial match. The coverage on Peacock is just starting. MOT!
The team news for the Leeds boys today:
Meslier, Ayling, Firpo, Koch, Wober, Roca, McKennie, Aaronson, Harrison, Bamford, Gnonto.
We're away in the Black Country and McKennie has an early chance teed up by Lord Bamford. Couldn't get over it.
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Jack, you beauty! Nice finish from Harrison but totally made by Gnonto's guile.
0-1 Whites!
And Bournemouth are behind. Be still my beating heart!
Phew! We've weathered a penalty claim and VAR check. Looked like a decent shout. A let off.
Very bright start to this one.
It's all gotten very scrappy in the past five minutes.
Great stop by Meslier but it eventually gets flagged off. Podense is the main danger man for Wolves.
Luke Ayling picks up a yellow card for a foul right on the edge of the box.
Halfway through the first half and I'm delighted with the performance so far. Now, can we manage the match?
We're letting Wolves onto us far too much now. Where has our possession gone?
Oh - Gnonto had a chance to shoot there but decided to try a pass to Bamford. Didn't come off.
Oh - Kilman weaved his way into the area before Roca tackled him. Wolves look dangerous.
Brenden wins us a corner.
Oh - long corner to McKennie whose shot is deflected out for another corner. Come on!
Dawson picks up a yellow card for a hack on Jack.
Jack still down getting treatment. He might have to come off.
Wahay! Brentford have scored against Leicester. So, all of the results are going in our favor.
At the end of that long wait, Marc Roca blasts one well over. He's been hopeless.
Dawson wrestles Lord Bamford to the ground now and begs the question of just how many he's going to get away with.
Bamford and Aaronson over this one. Patrick squanders it badly.
Nearly half time now - if we can just get into the dressing room a goal up we can regroup.
Now Aaronson snatches at the shot. No one seems to have their shooting boots on.
Now Firpo is booked as he lunges in.
Now the handbags are coming out. Some time wasting by McKennie to blame for it. He gets a silly yellow card.
And that's halftime. Phew!
I'm back after a bite to eat and it's 2-3 - a real nail biter. Surely we can't throw away a 0-3 lead!
Marc Roca gets a yellow card - get him off!
Fifteen minutes left to see this one out.
Oh - Cunha nearly in there and Meslier does well to turn it around. Pins and needles time.
Roca with another foul. He'll have to be careful now.
Aaronson and Firpo off and Summerville and Struijk on.
Less than 10 minutes left to see this one out.
Jonny picks up a yellow now. This has been a scrappy affair with a lot of bad fouls, including that one.
VAR check on a red card on that one, for obvious reasons. Ayling is still down in a heap.
This looks like Jonny is going off, which would be priceless for us.
Yes! Wolves down to ten men now. Hopefully that will ease up their attack on us.
Five minutes plus stoppage time now for us to hang on.
Now it's Joao Gomez into the book for a nasty one on Roca.
Just have to manage the last few minutes here. The momentum seems to have shifted to us again.
We're controlling the game again. Just knock it about!
Bloody hell - seven minutes of stoppage time to come!
Now there's just six minutes left. Rodrigo kicks the ball away.
Oh no - Rodrigo's gone down lame now!
Just a couple of minutes now to see out.
Leeds fans are singing.
Yes, Rodrigo, you beauty! On the break, our top scorer pops one over Sa for 2-4!
No - the ref is going to have a look because of a foul earlier in the move.
It's Marc Roca again who's at fault for this.
No - the ref has stuck with his initial opinion and Rodrigo's goal stands!
All hell's breaking lose on the bench now with a red card being issued to one of the Wolves subs - wow!
